Seriāla “13 iemesli kāpēc” (“13 Reasons Why”) naratīva analīze un ietekme uz auditoriju

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Seriāla “13 iemesli kāpēc” (“13 Reasons Why”) naratīva analīze un ietekme uz auditoriju” mērķis ir izpētīt seriāla naratīva struktūru un noskaidrot tā ietekmi uz auditoriju. Lai to paveiktu, tika izmantota naratīva analīze, ar ko pētīts seriāla saturs, un fokusa grupas diskusija, kur tika apspriestas dalībnieku sajūtas un efekti pēc seriāla noskatīšanās. Darba teorētiskajā daļā apskatīts naratīva jēdziens, pievēršot uzmanību audiovizuālam naratīvam, kā arī seriālu naratīva aspektiem. Tāpat tika apskatīti arī mediju efekti uz auditoriju. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka “13 iemesli kāpēc” tiek strukturēts, katrā epizodē izceļot citu varoni, un atklāj seriāla stāstu, izmantojot polivokalitātes principu. Tāpat tika secināts, ka seriālam ir spēcīgi īslaicīgie efekti uz auditoriju, un tā ietekme uz to ir drīzāk pozitīva.

Bachelor's thesis “Narrative analysis of TV series '13 Reasons Why' and its influence on audience” aims to explore the narrative structure of the series and determine its impact on the audience. To do this, a narrative analysis of the content of the series was used and a focus group discussion where participants' feelings and effects after the series were discussed. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the concept of narrative, focusing on audiovisual narrative as well as the narrative aspects of the TV series. Media effects on the audience were also discussed. The study found that "13 Reasons Why" is structured highlighting another hero in each episode and revealing the series story using the principle of polyvocality. It was also concluded that the series has strong temporary effects on the audience and its impact on it is rather positive.
