Vācijas skatījums uz Eiropas Savienības nākotni

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Vācijas skatījums uz Eiropas Savienības nākotni”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā diskusijas par Eiropas Savienības nākotni atspoguļojas Vācijas politiķu runās Vācijas iekšienē un kā ¬– ārpus Vācijas, uzrunājot kolēģus Eiropas Savienības institūcijās un ārvalstu auditorijās. Pētījuma teorētiskā bāze un metodoloģija balstīta uz “divu līmeņu spēles” teoriju un diskursa analīzi. Darba empīriskajā daļā ar kritiskās diskursa analīzes palīdzību tiek analizētas Vācijas politiķu paustās runas nacionālajā līmenī valsts iekšienē un starptautiskajā līmenī Eiropas Savienībā. Maģistra darba rezultāti parāda, ka Vācijas politiķi pauž vienotu un, galvenokārt, pozitīvu skatījumu uz Vācijas iesaisti un sadarbību ES nākotnes labā gan nacionālajā līmenī Vācijas iekšienē, gan starptautiskajā līmenī ārpus Vācijas.

This Master's thesis “The German Perspective on the Future of European Union” focuses on the view of German politicians regarding the future of the EU. The goal of the research is to evaluate how discussions regarding the future of the EU are reflected in speeches of German politicians’ when addressing both domestic and foreign audiences. The theoretical basis and methodology of the research are based on “two-level game” theory and discourse analysis. The empirical part of the thesis, using critical discourse analysis focuses on speeches of German politicians, when addressing audiences domestically and within the EU. The results of the research show that German politicians express a united and positive view of German involvement for the future of the EU, both addressing audiences domestically and within the institutions of the EU.
