Uzlabotā Eiropas Savienības ekonomikas pārvaldība un tās ietekme uz strukturālo reformu ieviešanu Latvijā

Abstract

Pēc ekonomiskās un finanšu krīzes perioda strukturālo reformu ieviešanas intensitāte Latvijā ir samazinājusies. Strukturālo reformu ieviešanai ir nozīmīga loma Latvijas tautsaimniecības attīstībā un reformu dzinulis bijis vitāli nepieciešams ātrākai izaugsmei. Maģistra darba mērķis un uzdevumi ir analizēt Eiropas semestra ietekmi uz strukturālo reformu ieviešanu Latvijā. Maģistra darba ietvaros ir analizēti Eiropas Komisijas sagatavotie ziņojumi par Latviju, Latvijai sniegtās rekomendācijas, to ieviešanas progress, kā arī veiktas intervijas ar Eiropas semestra koordinācijas procesā iesaistītajām personām. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka Eiropas semestra ietvaros Latvijai sniegto rekomendāciju ieviešanas progress ir neliels un Eiropas semestra ietekme uz strukturālo reformu ieviešanas veicināšanu Latvijā ir vērtējama kā nebūtiska. After the economic and financial crisis, the intensity of implementation of structural reforms in Latvia has decreased. The implementation of structural reforms plays an important role in the development of the Latvian economy and the reforms has been a vital driver of the growth. The objective of the Master's thesis is to analyze the impact of the European Semester on the implementation of structural reforms in Latvia. The Master's thesis analyzes the country reports prepared by the European Commission, the recommendations addressed to Latvia, the progress of their implementation, as well as interviews with stakeholders involved in the European Semester coordination process. The obtained results show that the overall assessment of progress of implementation of the recommendations addressed to Latvia within the European Semester is some progress and the impact of the European Semester on the implementation of structural reforms in Latvia is negligible.
