Author: Solvita Dreimane Theme: Development of Mathematical Skills of Five-Year-Old Children in Sports Activities. Aimoftheresearch: to theoretically analyze, practically investigate and analyze the possibilities of developing mathematical skills of five-year-old children in sports classes. Bachelor consists of two parts – theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part summarizes and analyzes the conclusions of educators and psychologists about the development of mathematical skills of five-year-old children in practice, the role of movement in the child's development, the integration of mathematics and sports activities. Summarizing the conclusions of educators and psychologists, the author concludes: •Both mathematics and sports activities in pre-school have a lot of unifying "elements" - rhythm, movement, coordination, memory, attention, etc., allof which can and should be combined in one integrated lesson, •In order for the educator to choose the right tasks and use appropriate teaching methods in both mathematics and sports, it is necessary to pay attention to the characteristics of the development of children of appropriateage. In the empirical part of the bachelor are studied and analyzes the possibilities of improving mathematical skills of five-year-oldchildren in sports classes in the pedagogical pilot activity. Exercises for sports lessons were developed, integrating specifict opics in mathematics. The results of the study confirmed that the mathematical skills of the child can be improved in sports activities. The Bachelor consists of 46 pages, it contains 2 tables and 10 images, 62 sources of literature are used.
