Šī darba autore Madara Bērziņa veica pētījumu par sev aktuālu tēmu „ Rotaļa kā adaptācijas sekmētāja sākumskolā bērniem vecumposmā no 6- 7 gadiem”. Darba autorei tēma ir aktuāla, jo pati strādā 1. klasē kā skolotāja. Pirmajā nodaļā autore apskata psihologu un pedagogu pētnieciskās atziņas par vecumposma īpatnībām, savukārt otrajā nodaļā - rotaļas vēsturisko izcelsmi un tās veidus. Trešo nodaļu, kas apskata pētniecisko darbību, balsta uz teorētisko pamatojumu. Pētījuma mērķis - analizēt 6 - 7 gadīgu bērnu adaptēšanos skolā, pielietojot rotaļu kā procesa sekmētāju. Tika izvirzīti pētījuma uzdevumi, analizēt pedagogu un psihologu atziņas par 6 - 7 vecu bērnu vecumposmu īpatnībām, kā arī analizēt rotaļas nozīmi adaptācijas procesā skolā. Pētījuma procesā tiek izmantotas tādas pētījuma metodes kā anketēšana, novērošana, zīmējumu analīze. Veicot pētījumu rezultātu apkopojumu, autore secina, ka hipotēze ir pierādīta - rotaļa sekmē adaptācijas procesu sākumskolā. The author of the present paper Madara Bērziņa has made a research upon the theme „Play as a key of adaptation in elementary school for children in age group of 6 - 7.” The theme is topical because the author is working as a teacher in the first class. The first chapter of the present paper deals with the theories of pedagogues and psychologists about the children age peculiarities. The second chapter deals with the historical development of play and how it is distributed. The empirical part is based on theories. The goal of the present paper is to analyse how the play can succeed the process of adaptation in school for children in age group of 6 - 7. The research tasks are to analyse the age peculiarities for children in age group of 6 - 7, as well analyse the meaning of play in the process of adaptation. In the research process the method of questionary, observation and drawing analyse are used. The research proves the hypothesis.
