Īstermiņu aizdevumu nozarei parādoties Latvijā 2007.gadā, tai joprojām nav noteikta valstiska mehānisma, kas pasargātu tā klientus. Nenomāksāts aizdevums rezultējas maksātnespējā, aizdevuma ņēmēja ieiešanu pelēkajā ekonomikas zonā, tai skaitā - izbraukšanu no valsts. Pētījuma mērķis ir izmantojot diskriminanta analīzes metodi, nodrošināt augstas precizitātes maksātspējas prognozēšanu, samazinot maksātnespējai pakļauto potenciālo klientu skaitu un gūstot lielākas priekšrocības augstajos nozares konkurences apstākļos. Diskriminanta analīzes izmantošana īstermiņa aizdevumu klientu novērtēšanā vērtējama precīzi (98,2%) gadījumos, kad klients aizdevumu nevarēs atmaksāt, bet vērtējama neprecīzi (52%) gadījumos, kad klients aizdevumu varēs atmaksāt. Par induviduāli precīzāko rādījumu uzskatāms pagātnē saņemto aizdevumu skaits, izglītības līmenis un aizdevuma termiņš. With the emergence of the short-term loan industry in Latvia in 2007, it still does not have a proven government mechanism in place to protect its customers. Short-term loan which is not paid in time results in insolvency, the borrower entering the gray economic zone, including escaping the country. The purpose of the study is to provide a solution of high accuracy in predicting solvency by using discriminant analysis, reducing the number of potential insolvent clients and gaining greater advantage in the high competitive environment of the industry. The use of discriminant analysis in the valuation of short-term loan customers can be assessed accurately (98.2%) when loan will not be able repay the loan, but inaccurate (52%) in cases where the customer will be able to repay the loan. The number of loans received in the past, the level of education and the maturity of the loan are considered to be the most accurate individual indicators.
