Pedagoga kompetence pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu emocionālo kompetenču veicināšanā sociāli emocionālās mācīšanās ietvaros

Emocionālajām kompetencēm piemīt būtiska loma bērna harmoniskā attīstībā; to mērķtiecīga veicināšana pozitīvi ietekmē kognitīvo procesu attīstību, saskarsmi ar apkārtējiem, personīgo labsajūtu un gatavību skolai. Mūsdienās emocionālo kompetenču pilnveide notiek sociāli emocionālās mācīšanās ietvaros, bet tieši pedagogiem piemīt noteicošā loma šajā procesā. Tāpēc kvalifikācijas darba mērķis bija izpētīt emocionālo kompetenču būtību sociāli emocionālās mācīšanās ietvaros pirmsskolas pedagoģiskajā procesā un pedagogu kompetenci to veicināšanā. Darba ietvaros tika arī veikts pētījums par pedagogu uzskatiem attiecībā uz sociāli emocionālo mācīšanos. Rezultātā autore secina par pozitīvo pedagogu attieksmi pret to un gatavību veicināt bērnu emocionālās kompetences savā ikdienas darbā, izmantojot daudzveidīgas šim nolūkam piemērotas stratēģijas. Emotional competencies play an important role in child’s overall development; their mindful fostering has a positive impact on child’s cognitive development, relationship with adults and peers, personal wellbeing and school readiness. According to modern trends in pedagogy, emotional competences are best improved within the frame of social emotional learning. For that reason, the goal of the present paper was to study emotional competencies and social emotional learning in preschool pedagogical process and the role of teacher competence in it. It also includes a study devoted to the preschool teachers’ opinions about social emotional learning. As a result, the positive attitude of the respondents is outlined, as well as their willingness to develop children’s emotional competencies as part of their job by using appropriate and diverse strategies.
