Vecāku kompetences izjūtas saistība ar pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu uzvedības problēmām

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apkopot informāciju par vecāku kompetences saistību ar bērnu uzvedības grūtībām pirmsskolas vecumā balstoties uz pētījumiem un zinātnisko literatūru. Tika definēti divi pētījuma jautājumi- kādas saistības pastāv starp vecāku kompetenci un bērnu uzvedības grūtībām pirmsskolas vecumā; cik lielā mērā pastāv dzimumatšķirības uzvedības problēmām bērnībā? Lai realizētu pētījumu, tika iegūti dati no 80 respondentiem- pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu vecākiem, no tiem 40 sievietes un 40 vīrieši. Pēc respondentu norādītajiem datiem par bērniem, pētījuma dalībniekiem ir 46 meitenes, no kurām jaunākajai fiksētais vecums ir 2 gadi, vecākajai 5 gadi. Zēnu norādītais skaits kopumā ir 34, jaunākajam no zēniem norādītais vecums ir 2 gadi, vecākajam 5 gadi. Bakalaura darba empīriskās daļas ietvaros izmantoti divi instrumenti. Viens no tiem ir vecāku kompetences izjūtas skalas, kas ietver atsevišķu formu gan mātēm, gan tēviem (The Parenting Sense of Competence Scale, Johnston & Mash, 1989), Latvijā šo skalu adaptējušas I. Skreitule- Pikše , S.Sebre, 2008. Kā otrs pētījumā izmantotais instruments ir Bērna uzvedības novērtēšanas aptauja pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu vecāku forma (Child Behavior Checklist- CBCL/1,5-5, Achenbach & Rescorla, 2000), Latvijā aptauju adaptējusi I. Skreitule-Pikše, 2010. Rezultāti uzrāda statistiski nozīmīgas negatīvas korelācijas starp vecāku kompetences izjūtu un bērnu uzvedības grūtībām. Starp meitenēm un zēniem pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības noslēgšanās sevī un agresīvas uzvedības apakšskalās.

The aim of the Bachelor’s Paper is to collect information on the relationship of parental competence with the difficulty of child behaviour in pre-school age based on studies and scientific literature. Two questions were defined: what relationships exist between parental competence and the difficulties of child’s behaviour in preschool; to what extent there are gender differences in behavioral problems in childhood? In order to carry out the study, data from 80 respondents were collected, including 40 women and 40 men of children of pre-school age. According to data provided by respondents on children, the study participants have 46 girls, of which the youngest fixed age is 2 years, the oldest 5 years. The number indicated by boys is a total of 34, the age indicated for the youngest of boys is 2 years, the oldest 5 years. Two instruments have been used in the empirical part of Bachelor’s Paper. One of these is Parenting Sense of Competence Scale, which include a separate form for mothers and fathers (The Parenting Sense of Competence Scale, Johnston & Mash, 1989), adapted by I. Skreitule- Pikse, S. Sebre, 2008. As the second instrument used in the study is the Child Behavior Checklist (Child Behavior Checklist- CBCL/1, 5-5, Achenbach & Rescorla, 2000), the survey was adapted by I. Skreitule- Pikse, 2010. The results show statistically significant negative correlations between a sense of parental competence and children's behavioral problems. There are statistically significant differences between girls and boys in subscales of closing in themselves and in aggressive behaviour.
