Liepājas ostas nozīme reģionā un attīstības perspektīvas

Abstract

Diplomdarba temats ir “Liepājas ostas nozīme reģionā un attīstības perspektīvas”. Liepājas osta ir 3. lielākā osta, kuras attīstību būtiski ietekmēja tās vēsture. Diplomdarba ietvaros tiek pētīts, cik konkurētspējīga Liepājas osta ir mūsdienās, salīdzinoši ar tuvākajām konkurentēm. Pētījuma mērķis ir - pamatojoties uz Latvijas lielo ostu statistikas un datu analīzi, noskaidrot Liepājas ostas konkurētspējas priekšrocības un izvirzīt priekšlikumus tās tālākai uzlabošanai. Izvirzītie darba uzdevumi: 1)izpētīt Latvijas ģeogrāfiskā novietojuma priekšrocības, kas sekmējušas ostu veidošanos; 2)izpētīt Liepājas ostas vēsturi pirms un pēc speciālās ekonomiskās zonas statusa piešķiršanas; 3)veikt galveno reģiona ostu raksturojumu, analizējot to galvenās priekšrocības un statistikas datus; 4)noskaidrot ostu statistikas uzskaites sistēmas darbības pamatprincipus; 5)veikt Liepājas ostas konkurētspējas analīzi un tās potenciālu nākotnē; 6)iespēju robežās noteikt Liepājas ostas pienesumu ekonomikai. Pētījuma rezultātā ir izpētīti galvenās Liepājas ostas konkurētspējas priekšrocības. Pētījuma daļā analizēta Liepājas ostas kravu struktūra un tās uzskaites sistēma, ostas mājaslapas konkurētspēja, kā arī veikta SVID analīze. Darbs ir uz 74 lapaspusēm un tajā iekļauti 14 attēli, 11 tabulas un 6 pielikumi. Atslēgas vārdi – Liepājas osta, konkurētspēja, ostas sistēmas, mājas lapa.

The theme of the research paper is “The Role of the Port of Liepaja in the Region and its Development Perspectives”. The Port of Liepaja is the 3rd largest port, the development of which was significantly influenced by its history. Within the framework of the research paper, it is investigated how competitive the Port of Liepaja is today, compared to its closest competitors. The aim of the research: based on the analysis of the statistics and data of the big ports of Latvia, find out the competitive advantages of the Port of Liepaja and make proposals for its further improvement. Work tasks of the research: 1) to study the advantages of the geographical location of Latvia, which have facilitated the formation of ports; 2) to research the history of the Port of Liepaja before and after receiving the status of Special Economic Zone; 3) to characterize the main ports of the region by analyzing their main advantages and statistical data; 4) to clarify the basic principles of operation of the port statistical accounting system; 5) to carry out the analysis of the competitiveness of the Port of Liepaja and its potential in the future; 6) to determine, to the extent possible, the contribution of the Port of Liepaja to the economy. As a result of the research, the main competitive advantages of the Port of Liepaja have been studied. The research part analyzes the cargo structure of the Port of Liepaja and its accounting system, the competitiveness of the port website, as well as the SWOT analysis.
