ANOTACIJA
Ženijas Kruzmetras promocijas darbam „Piepilsetas lauku teritorijas apdzivojuma
parmainas Latvija”
Petijuma merkis ir izvertet pilsetu ietekmes zonu lauku teritoriju attistibas iezimes.
Risinatie uzdevumi petijuma merka sasniegšanai
1. raksturot piepilsetu zonu ka lauku teritorijas sastavdalu;
2. apkopot lidzšinejo izpeti par iedzivotaju pieaugumu pilsetu ietekmes zonu
lauku teritorijas;
3. raksturot periurbano attistibu ka aktualu izpetes virzienu pasaule un Eiropa;
4. izvertet iedzivotaju sastava parmainas pilsetu ietekmes zonu lauku
teritorijas Latvija;
5. izvertet ka iedzivotaju sastava parmainas ietekme periurbano lauku telpu.
Petijuma rezultati ir izklastiti piecas nodalas
Pirmaja nodala skatiti lauku ka socialteritorialas vienibas dinamisko izmainu
teoretiskie aspekti: .ir skaidrots lauku jedziens, apskatitas socialas parmainas laukos
ka dzives telpa un endogena lauku attistibas modela saistiba ar pilsetu ietekmes
zonam.
Otra nodala apkopota lidzšineja izpete par iedzivotaju pieaugumu pilsetu ietekmes
zonu lauku teritorijas, raksturojot suburbanizacijas, kontrurbanizacijas un
periurbanizacijas procesus. Ipaša uzmaniba veltita periurbanizacijas konceptam,
iedzivotaju mobilitatei uz lauku teritorijam ka nozimigam lauku telpas parveides
faktoram.
Trešaja nodala ir raksturoti darba izmantotie dati, metodes un izpetes teritorija, kas
aptver Pierigas zonas lauku teritoriju. Petijuma datu bazi veido statistikas dati un LU
GZZF Cilveka geografijas katedras aptaujas „Rigas aglomeracijas iedzivotaji” datu
masivs. Aptauja veikta 2007 - 2009.gada. Galvenas izpetes metodes - zinatniskas
literaturas un petijumu materialu analize un izvertejums, statistiskas un kartografiskas
metodes.
Ceturtaja nodala izvertetas iedzivotaju sastava parmainas pilsetu ietekmes zonu
lauku teritorijas Latvija, savstarpeji salidzinot dažados laika periodos ienakušos
iedzivotajus.
Petijuma rezultati atklaj dažadu iedzivotaju grupu atškiribas Pieriga. Tas iedzivotaju
kopumu veido cetras iedzivotaju grupas. Pirma ir iedzivotaju dala, kura dzives vietu
nav mainijusi, šaja teritorija dzivo kopš dzimšanas, lidz ar to vini veido vietejo
iedzivotaju grupu. Otru dalu šai iedzivotaju kopuma veido ienaceji no Rigas, kuru
skaits seviški pieaudzis pec 2001. gada. Trešo dalu veido ienaceji no citam mazakam
pilsetam, kuri parvietojas tuvak Rigai ka metropolei. Savukart, ceturta dala ir ienaceji
no citam lauku teritorijam. Pec 2001. gada domine ienaceji no Rigas, toties samazinas
ienaceji no citam lauku teritorijam. Rezultata šo lauku teritoriju iedzivotaju struktura
klust daudzveidigaka.

to Ženija Kruzmetra’s doctoral thesis
„Changes in Settlement Patterns of Suburban Rural Territories of
Latvia”
The aim of the research is to study the developmental trends of rural areas with
urban influence.
The following objectives were set to achieve the aim:
1. to characterize the suburban zone as the part of rural territory;
2. to analyze the available scientific literature on the population growth in
rural areas with urban influence;
3. to characterize the periurban development as the topical research trend
worldwide and in Europe;
4. to estimate the changes in the population’s composition in rural areas with
urban influence.
5. to analyze the influence of the population’s composition on the periurban
rural areas.
The study is divided into five chapters.
Chapter 1 examines the theoretical aspects of dynamic changes of rural areas as the
units of social territories: the concept of rural areas, social changes in the countryside
as the living space and the relation of an endogenous model of rural development with
the urban zones of influence.
Chapter 2 deals with the theoretical overview of studies devoted to the population
growth in rural areas with urban influence, characterizing suburbanization,
contrurbaniztion and periurbanization processes. The special attention is paid to the
concept of periurbanization and the population mobility to rural areas as an important
factor of the transformation of rural space.
Chapter 3 focuses on the research data, methods and the territory under the
investigation that is located in the Pieriga rural areas. The study is based on the
statistic data and the data acquired in the survey by the Department of Human
Geography of the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, the University of Latvia,
carried out in 2007-2009. The main methods of the research is the comparison and
analysis of the theoretical literature, statistical methods and the method of
cartography.
Chapter 4 analyzes the changes in the population composition in rural areas with
urban influence in Latvia, comparing the inhabitants having arrived in different
periods. The research results reveal the differences of population in Pieriga rural
territories which could be divided into four groups. The first group contains
inhabitants which have not changed their location and have been living in this
territory from the time of their birth thus forming the group of the native inhabitants.
The second group comprises the newcomers from Riga the amount of which have
increased considerably after the year of 2001. The third group is composed of people
arriving from other small towns and who have moved in the direction towards Riga as
the metropolis. The fourth group contains inhabitants moving from other rural areas.
The newcomers from Riga have been dominating in the time period after 2001, the
people arriving from other rural areas have been decreasing. As a result, the
population structure of this rural area has become versatile.
Chapter 5 encompass discussions.
The conclusions and the suggested problems are at the end of the study.
The paper contains 108 pages, there are 33 tables and 16 figures. The List of
