E-repozitoriji atvērtās zinātnes kontekstā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādas kompetences un prasmes saistībā ar repozitorijiem atvērtās zinātnes kontekstā ir nepieciešamas informācijas speciālistam. Darbā tiek pētīti ar atvērto zinātni saistīti jēdzieni un koncepcijas, aprakstīti ar repozitorijiem saistīti jautājumi, situācija Latvijā, kā arī kompetenču profili un modeļi, kuros apkopotas informācijas speciālistiem nepieciešamās prasmes un kompetences atvērtās zinātnes kontekstā. Empīriskajā daļā ir veikta kompetenču profilu un modeļu kontentanalīze un analizētas intervijas ar informācijas speciālistēm, kuru darbs ikdienā saistīts ar atvērtās zinātnes jautājumiem. Pētījuma rezultātā tika apkopotas daudzveidīgās prasmes un kompetences, kas ir vajadzīgas darbā ar repozitorijiem.

The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is to find out which competencies information specialists need in relation to repositories in the context of open science. In order to achieve this aim, concepts related to open science, issues related to repositories, the situation in Latvia, as well as competence profiles and models, which summarise the skills and competencies required for information specialists in the context of open science, were researched. The empirical part consists of a content analysis of competence profiles and models and interviews with information specialists, whose work is related to open science. The research provides a summary of the wide range of skills and competencies that information specialists need to work with repositories.
