Datortīklu savienojumu izvēles metodes un to analīze simulatorā

Abstract

Bezvadu tehnoloģiju un mobilo ierīču attīstības iespaidā nepārtraukta mobilitāte ir svarīga arvien lielākam lietotāju skaitam. Ņemot vērā dažādās tīklu savienojumu iespējas, labākā savienojuma izvēle starp vairākām alternatīvām nav vienkāršs process. Maģistra darba ietvaros tiek analizētas datortīklu savienojumu kvalitātes novērtēšanas metodes, kuru mērķis ir izvēlēties labāko no noteiktā laika brīdī pieejamajiem savienojumiem. Darba ietvaros tiek veikta teorētiskās literatūras izpēti, apskatot savienojumu izvēles metožu darbības gaitu un to nozīmīgumu mobilitātes nodrošināšanā. Darba otrajā daļā tiek izveidota izvēles metožu testēšanas programma, ar kuras palīdzību tiek veikta metožu analīze.

Due to the development of wireless technologies and mobile devices, continuous mobility is important for an increasing number of users. Given the variety of network connectivity options, choosing the best connection between multiple alternatives is not a simple process. The master thesis analyses the methods for evaluating the quality of computer network connections aimed at selecting the best connection available at a given time. As part of the work, a study of theoretical literature is carried out, examining the selection method process and its importance in ensuring mobility. In the second part of the work, a program for testing of the selection methods is made. It is used for method analysis.
