Darbaspēka migrācija, to noteicošie faktori un problēmas tautsaimniecībā

Abstract

Latvijā ik gadu samazinās iedzīvotāju skaits, turklāt emigrantu ir vairāk kā imigrantu. Lielākā daļa no aizbraucējiem ir iedzīvotāji darbspējas vecumā, un galamērķis lielākoties ir kāda no Eiropas Savienības dalībvalstīm. Valsts ilgtspēju ir teju neiespējami nodrošināt, ja kopējais iedzīvotāju skaits turpinās kristies arī nākotnē. Darba mērķis bija identificēt ar darbaspēka migrāciju saistītos ekonomiskos un sociālos faktorus, kas ietekmē tautsaimniecību, pamatojoties uz migrācijas datu analīzi, un izstrādāt priekšlikumus situācijas uzlabošanai. Veicot korelācijas un regresijas analīzi rezultāti atklāja, ka bezdarbs, sociālā aizsardzība un drošība ietekmē emigrāciju no Latvijas, kā arī algas ietekmē imigrāciju Eiropas Savienībā, tādēļ šo faktoru uzlabošana var mainīt migrācijas plūsmas Latvijā.

The population of Latvia is decreasing every year, moreover, there are more emigrants than immigrants. Most of the emigrants are in working age, and the destination is mostly one of the Member States of the European Union. It is almost impossible to ensure the sustainability of the country if the total population continues to decline in the future. The aim was to identify the economic and social factors related to labour migration that can affect the economy, based on the analysis of migration data, and to develop proposals to improve the situation. The results of the correlation and regression analysis revealed that unemployment, social protection and security affect emigration from Latvia, as well as wages affect immigration in the European Union, therefore improving these factors can change migration flows in Latvia.
