Latvijas ostu darbības analīze un perspektīvas

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums – Latvijas ostu darbības analīze un perspektīvas. Darba mērķis ir veikt Latvijas brīvostu darbības analīzi, izpētot pieejamo finanšu informāciju, atklāt iespējamās problēmas ostu finanšu darbībā, veikt secinājumus par finansiālo stāvokli kā arī sniegt priekšlikumus par uzlabojumiem, jo ostas ir svarīga valsts ekonomikas sastāvdaļa un ir nepieciešams to pastāvīgi kontrolēt un attīstīt. Lai sasniegtu doto mērķi, darba pirmajā daļā tika aprakstīta ostu darbības teorija, kā arī finanšu analīzes nepieciešamība un metodes. Darba otrajā daļā tika veikta brīvostu finanšu rādītāju un kravu apjomu analīze. Trešajā daļā tika aplūkoti projekti, kuros ostas piedalās un to perspektīvas. Pētījumā secināts, ka brīvostu darbība ir veiksmīga, bet ir nepieciešams veikt nelielus uzlabojumus.

The title of the bachelor thesis - Analysis of performance and future perspectives of ports of Latvia The goal of the thesis is to carry out an analysis of the performance of Latvian freeports by examining the available financial information, identifying potential problems in the financial performance of the ports, drawing conclusions about the financial situation and making proposals for improvements, as ports are an important part of the national economy and need to be constantly monitored and developed. To achieve given goal, in the first part of thesis is described the theory of port performance as well as the necessity and methods of financial analysis. The second part includes the financial and cargo analysis of freeports. In the third part ports’ projects and their perspectives are reviewed. The study concludes that the performance of freeports is successful but that little improvements are needed.
