Remigrācijas iezīmes Latvijas reģionos: jauniešu atgriešanās un prombūtnes pieredze

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Remigrācijas iezīmes Latvijas reģionos: jauniešu atgriešanās un prombūtnes pieredze” pētīta gados jaunu Latvijas iedzīvotāju atpakaļmigrācija. Darbā aplūkoti remigrācijas teorētiskie aspekti un apkopoti pieejamie statistikas dati. Pielietojot kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes, darbā analizētas intervijas ar atpakaļmigrantiem un reģionālajiem remigrācijas koordinatoriem. Pētījums atklāj remigrācijas izpētes sarežģīto raksturu, jo intervēto atgriešanās pieredze bijusi dažāda. Vienlaikus tas sniedz ieskatu remigrācijas pārvaldībā, kas Latvijā pagaidām ir maz pētīta. Darbā iegūtie secinājumi apkopo atpakaļmigrantu un remigrācijas koordinatoru pieredzi un viedokļus. Darbu veido ievads, 5 nodaļas, secinājumi, izmantotās literatūras saraksts un divi pielikumi. Teksta kopējais apjoms ir 57 lapaspuses.

Return migration of young adults to Latvia has been studied in the bachelor thesis “Regional patterns of remigration to Latvia: youth experience abroad and upon return”. The study highlights the main theoretical issues and summarizes the available statistics. Adopting the qualitative approach, the study analyses in-depth interviews with returnees and remigration coordinators of the planning regions in Latvia. The results of the research reveal that return behaviour and experience is very selective among the surveyed returnees. Simultaneously, the study provides an insight into the management of remigration, which is a new field of research in Latvia. The findings summarise the remigration experience and views of returnees and coordinators. The thesis consists of an introduction, 5 chapters, conclusions, references and two appendices. The total amount of text is 57 pages.
