Garastāvokļa (afektīvu) traucējumu pacientu līdzestība Latvijā

Afektīvi traucējumi ir plaši izplatīta garīgu saslimšanu grupa, kas raksturojas ar patoloģiskām izmaiņām cilvēka garastāvoklī un ietver depresijas epizodes, rekurentus depresīvus traucējumus un bipolāri afektīvus traucējumus. Zāļu līdzestība jeb veselības aprūpes speciālistu norādījumu ievērošana terapijas laikā šajā pacientu grupā ir nozīmīga, lai sasniegtu vēlamos ārstēšanas rezultātus. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apkopot datus par afektīvu traucējumu pacientu lietotajām zālēm un līdzestību Latvijā. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka lielākajai daļai afektīvu traucējumu pacientu nozīmētā terapija atbilst Latvijā izmantotajām vadlīnijām. Tā kā liela daļa afektīvu traucējumu pacientu ir nelīdzestīgi, svarīgi veikt ilgāku un apjomīgāku pacientu anketēšanu, lai iegūtu pilnīgāku informāciju par afektīvu traucējumu pacientu līdzestību. Affective disorders are a group of common mental illnesses characterized by pathological disturbances in a person’s mood and include major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder. Medication adherence – patient’s adherence to healthcare professional’s directions regarding drug therapy – is crucial in this group of patients to achieve treatment goals. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to gather data about the prescribed medications and adherence of people with affective disorders. Results show that prescribed medications for most affective disorder patients adhere to local guidelines Since a large part of affective disorder patients are nonadherent to prescribed medications, longer and more rigorous patient surveys should be conducted to gather more detailed information about medication adherence of people with affective disorders.
