Ķīnas maigās varas izpausmes Latvijā, Vācijā un Somijā kopš 2010.gada

Abstract

“Ķīnas maigās varas izpausmes Latvijā, Vācijā un Somijā kopš 2010.gada” ir pētījums, kurā tiek aplūkots maigās varas koncepts, tā izpratne rietumu valstīs un Ķīnā. Papildus tiek noteiktas kopīgās un atšķirīgās šīs izpratnes iezīmes, kā arī tiek analizētas Ķīnas maigās varas izpausmes atbilstoši tās izpratnei par maigo varu. Pētījuma pamatā izmantota kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode, kas ietver akadēmiskās literatūras izpēti, starptautisko dokumentu un pētnieciskās literatūras satura analīzi, un tas sastāv gan no teorētiskās, gan empīriskās daļas, kur pēdējā tiek aplūkota faktiski veiktā, ar maigo varu saistītā, rīcība, izmantojot dažādu mediju rīcībā esošo informāciju, kā arī oficiālās preses relīzes valsts iestāžu mājaslapās. Šāda pieeja lasītājam sniedz iespēju uzreiz salīdzināt, kā teorijā nostiprinātais darbojas praksē, kā arī cik atšķirīga starp dažādām kultūrām var būt izpratne par vienu un to pašu teorētisko konceptu.

“China's soft power influence in Latvia, Germany and Finland since 2010” is a study that views concept of the soft power and how it is understood within western countries and China. In addition, the common and different features of this understanding are identified, as well as the manifestations of China's soft power in accordance with its understanding of the concept. The research is based on a qualitative research method, which includes the study of academic literature, analysis of the content of international documents and research literature. It consists of two parts - a theoretical and an empirical, the latter of which deals with real life actions related to soft power, using information available in various media, as well as official press releases on the websites of state institutions. Such an approach gives the reader the opportunity to immediately compare how the theory works in practice, as well as how different the understanding of the same theoretical concept can be between different cultures.
