ES Kohēzijas politikas ietekme uz Baltijas valstu reģionu attīstību

Abstract

Šī darba temats ir “ES Kohēzijas politikas ietekme uz Baltijas valstu reģionu attīstību”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā ES fondu finansējuma apjoms un investīcijas izglītības uzlabošanā un inovācijās nosaka Baltijas valstu reģionālās atšķirības. Lai īstenotu mērķi, tika pētīti Baltijas valstu nacionāla, reģionāla un vietēja līmeņa attīstības plānošanas dokumenti, kā arī veikts apkopojums par katras valsts vājākā un spēcīgākā reģiona ES fondu projektiem. Tiek secināts, ka spēcīgākie reģioni biežāk īsteno ES fondu finansētus projektus, kas saistīti ar izglītības uzlabošanu un inovāciju attīstību, kā arī tiek secināts, ka spēcīgākie reģioni biežāk īsteno projektus, kas nav saistīti ar infrastruktūras attīstību.

The subject of the research paper is “The impact of EU Cohesion policy on the development of regions in the Baltic States”. The aim of this paper is to understand how the amount of EU funding and investments in improving education and innovation determine regional disparities of the Baltic States. To achieve the objective, the development planning documents of national, regional and local level were examined, as well as a summary of the EU funds projects of the weakest and strongest regions was made. It is concluded that stronger regions are more likely to implement EU funded projects related to education improvement and innovation, as well as it is concluded that the stronger regions are more likely to implement projects that are not linked to infrastructure development.
