Mentordarbības pieejamība un nepieciešamība jaunajiem skolotājiem adaptācijas procesa laikā

Abstract

Mūsdienās izglītības iestādēs ir novērojams jauno pedagogu trūkums, galvenais iemesls - grūtības adaptēties skolas vidē. Maģistra darbs izstrādāts ar mērķi teorētiski un praktiski pētīt mentordarbības pieejamību un nepieciešamību jaunajiem pedagogiem adaptācijas procesa laikā Rīgas Vidzemes priekšpilsētas vispārizglītojošajās skolās. Veicot literatūras avotu, dokumentu, interviju un aptaujas datu analīzi, secināts, ka mentordarbība ir nepieciešama jaunajiem skolotājiem adaptācijas procesa laikā, bet tiek īstenota tikai daļēji. Mentordarbības nepieciešamību adaptācijas procesa laikā jaunajiem pedagogiem atzīst gan izglītības iestāžu vadītāji, gan jaunie skolotāji.

Nowadays, there is a shortage of novice teachers in educational institutions, the main reason being the difficulty in adapting to the school environment. The master's thesis has been developed with the aim to theoretically and practically study the availability and necessity of mentoring for novice teachers during the adaptation process in the general education schools of Riga Vidzeme suburb. The analysis of literature sources, documents, interviews and survey data has shown that mentoring is necessary for new teachers during the adaptation process, but is only partially implemented. Necessity of mentoring during the adaptation process for novice teachers is recognized by both the heads of educational institutions and the novice teachers.
