Projektu metodes izmantošana vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem dabaszinību apguvē

Abstract

Bakalaura darba pamatā ir tēma: "Projektu metodes izmantošana vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem dabaszinību apguvē". Pētījuma mērķis: izpētīt projektu metodi kā dabaszinību apguves veicināšanas līdzekli vecākajā pirmsskolas vecumā. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām - teorētiskās un praktiskās. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek analizēta zinātniskā, metodiskā, pedagoģiskā un psiholoģiskā literatūra par projektu metodes izmantošanu izglītībā kopumā un dabaszinībās. Darba praktiskajā daļā tika veikts praktiskais pētījums, kas sastāvēja no 3 posmiem: konstatējošā, veidojošā un kontroles pētījuma. Tika izmantotas trīs pētījumu metodes – pārrunas, pedagoģiskā novērošana un projektu metode. Pētījumā piedalījās 20 bērni 6 gadu vecumā. Dabaszinību apguves līmeņa noteikšanai pirms un pēc pētījuma tika izmantota projektu metode un paša skolotāja radīts projekts „Es un daba”, kura ietvaros tika izvirzīts projekta mērķis – pilnveidot vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu zināšanas dabaszinībās un tā sasniegšanai noteikti 6 projekta darba uzdevumi, par pamatu ņemot 6 novērojumu rādītājus: dabas dāvanas, ko ikdienā izmanto; kā iegūt veselīgus pārtikas produktus; kāpēc jālieto veselīga pārtika; kā var sargāt un saglabāt dabu; kā pareizi vākt un šķirot atkritumus; kā notiek atkritumu pārstrāde un otrreizēja izmantošana. Divu mēnešu garumā tika organizēts projekts kā vienots process, izmantojot projektu metodi. Darba rezultāti: sasniegts mērķis - pārbaudīta projektu metode kā dabaszinību apguves veicināšanas līdzeklis vecākajā pirmsskolas vecumā un pierādīta tās pielietošanas efektivitāte. Apstiprināta pētījuma hipotēze: vecākajā pirmsskolas vecumā dabaszinību apguve būs sekmīgāka, ja ikdienā tiks izmantota projektu metode. Pēc projekta „Es un daba” rezultātiem var redzēt, ka, izmantojot projektu metodi, bērnu zināšanas dabaszinībās ir uzlabojušās par 41,6%, salīdzinot ar sākotnējo zināšanu līmeni. The Bachelor’s work is based on the subject: „Using the Project method for children of the older pre-school age in learning of natural sciences”. The aim of the research: to explore the Project method as a mean of promoting of the learning of natural sciences in the older pre-primary age. The work consists of two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part analyzes scientific, methodological, pedagogical and psychological literature on the use of the Project method in education as a whole and in the field of training of natural sciences. The practical part of the work carries out a practical research consisting of 3 stages: the identifying, forming and controlling research. Three study methods were used: negotiation, pedagogical observation and Project method. The study involved 20 children aged 6. For the determination of the level of acquisition of natural sciences before and after the study, the Project method and the Project „I and Nature”, created by the teacher herself, were used which set out the objective of the Project – to improve the knowledge of children of the older pre-school age in natural sciences and, to achieve it, set out 6 project tasks based on 6 observation indicators: natural gifts, which we use everyday; how to get healthy food; why healthy food should be used; how to protect and preserve nature; how waste is collected and stored correctly; how waste is recycled and reused. For two months, the Project was organised as a whole process, using the Project method. Results of work: achieved the aim - tested the Project method as a mean of promoting of the learning of natural sciences in the older pre-primary age and demonstrated the effectiveness of its application. Validated study hypothesis: In the older pre-primar age, natural sciences learning will be more successful if a Project method is used everyday. Following the results of the Project „I and Nature”, it can be seen, that children’s knowledge in the field of natural sciences has improved by 41,6%, in comparision with the initial level of knowledge.
