Trīs līdz četrgadīgu bērnu matemātisko prasmju veidošanās rotaļās un spēlēs pirmsskolā

Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darba autors: Ineta Bērziņa Kvalifikācijas darba temats: „Trīs līdz četrgadīgu bērnu matemātisko prasmju veidošanās rotaļās un spēlēs pirmsskolā”. Mērķis: Teorētiski un praktiski izvērtēt rotaļu un spēļu nozīmi matemātisko spēju attīstībā trīs līdz četrus gadus veciem bērniem. Darba pirmajā nodaļā tiek veikta literatūras analīze. Nodaļā tiek apskatīta pieejamā literatūra par trīs līdz četrus gadus vecu bērnu attīstību kopumā – procesiem un īpatnībām, kas to ietekmē, tiek apskatīti dažādas teorijas un attīstības modeļi. Nodaļā tiek arī aprakstīta matemātisko prasmju veidošanās,kā arī analizēta pieejamā literatūra un līdzšinējie pētījumi par rotaļu un spēļu nozīmi pedagoģiskajā procesā, kā arī tieši matemātisko prasmju pilnveidošanā. Otrajā nodaļā tika veikts empīriskais pētījums, kurā vērtēja spēļu un rotaļu ietekmi uz trīs līdz četrus gadus vecu bērnu matemātisko prasmju veidošanos. Pētījuma laikā ar pedagoģiskās novērošanas metodi tika novērota vēroja bērnu darbību matemātikas uzdevumu izpildes laikā gan grupas telpās, gan āra nodarbībās, kā tika izprasta un veikta uzdevumu izpilde. Pēc tās bērniem matemātisko prasmju attīstīšanai tika mācītas atbilstošas rotaļas. Bērnu matemātiskās spējas tika vērtētas pētījuma sākumā un tās beigās, dati tika analizēti un izdarīti secinājumi. Empīriskajā daļā tika apstiprināta hipotēze - radošo rotaļu izmantošana veicina 3-4 gadīgu bērnu matemātisko prasmju attīstību. Aim of the thesis: To theoretically, as well as in practice, analyse and evaluate the role of games and play in development of mathematical skills. In the first chapter a literature review is carried out. First, the available literature on development of children aged three to four years is reviewed as a whole, paying attention especially to the processes and unique aspects that govern it, a brief overview of the leading theories and developmental models are given here. Then the development of math skills is outlined. Lastly, analysis is carried out about the role of games and play in education as well as development in mathematical skills. In the second chapter an empirical study is carried out, where the author evaluates the impact of games and play on the development of mathematical skills in children aged three to four years. Through the course of the study the author observed children’s activities during completion of mathematical assignments, both indoors and outdoors, evaluating in particular the understanding and completion of the task. Afterwards the children were taught and involved in specific games and play. Their mathematical ability was evaluated both at the beginning and at the end of the study, data analysis was performed and conclusions made. The hypothesis was confirmed – creative play improves the development of mathematical skills in children aged three to four years.
