Bakalaura darba tēma ir Sievietes reprezentācija podkāstos: “Starp mums, meitenēm, runājot” un “Fleksis” salīdzinājums. Darbā tiek pētīts vai podkāstos tiek reprezentēts kāds noteikts sievietes tēls – pozitīvs, negatīvs vai neitrāls. Papildus tiek analizēts podkāstu saturs, lai saprastu, kādā veidā tiek veidots sievietes reprezentācijas tēls podkāstos. Darbā papildus tiek iegūts skatījums no mediju pārstāvja un mediju uzrauga puses par podkāstu kontroli. Darba teorētiskajā daļā aplūkota teorija par podkāstiem, reprezentāciju, dzimtes reprezentāciju mūsdienās, par dzimti un dzimumu, dzimumu medijos. Darba empīriskajā daļā tiek izmantota gan kvalitatīvā, gan kvantitatīvā metode – daļēji strukturētās intervijas ar podkāstu veidotājiem, mediju pārstāvi un Nacionālās elektronisko plašsaziņas līdzekļu padomes (NEPLP) locekli un kontentanalīze. Pētījuma ietvaros tiek pētīts, kāda sievietes reprezentācija veidota konkrētajos podkāstos. Tiek noskaidrots mediju pārstāvja un Nacionālo elektronisko plašsaziņas līdzekļu padomes (NEPLP) locekļa skatījums uz podkāstu nozīmīgumu un nepieciešamību tos uzraudzīt. The theme of bachelor’s thesis is “Comparison of woman representation in podcasts "Starp mums, meitenēm, runājot" and "Fleksis"”. At work, it is examined whether a certain image of a woman – positive, negative or neutral – is represented in podcasts. In addition, the content of podcasts is analyzed to understand how a woman's representation image in podcasts is created. In addition, a view is obtained from the media representative and the media supervisor on the control of podcasts. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with theory of podcasts, representation, gender representation nowadays, gender and sex, gender in media. The empirical part of the thesis uses both qualitative and quantitative methods: semi-structured interviews with podcasts creators, a media representative, a member of the National Electronic Media Council and a content analysis. As part of the study, the representation of a woman in particular podcasts are being studied. The views of the media representative and member of the National Electronic Media Council on the importance of podcasts and the need to monitor them are clarified.
