Vecticībnieku izvietojums Latgales teritorijā no 1925.gada līdz 2011.gadam

Abstract

Šajā pētnieciskajā darbā autors apskata vecticībnieku skaita un apdzīvojuma izmaiņas Latgalē laika posmā no 1925. gada līdz 2011. gadam, kā arī, ja tas iespējams, cenšas rast iemeslus šīm izmaiņām. Vecticībnieki ir dzīvojuši Latvijas teritorijā jau vairākus gadsimtus, un lielākā daļa vecticībnieku jau izsenis ir dzīvojuši Latgalē. Darbā apskatītajā laika posmā, Latgale ir pārdzīvojusi trīs dažādus Latvijas vēstures posmus- Latvijas pirmās brīvvalsts laikus, padomju laikus, kā arī otrās brīvvalsts laikus, kuri turpinās vēl šobrīd. Vecticībnieki Latgalē vairāk apdzīvo lauku teritorijas, kā arī mazākas apdzīvotās vietas nekā pilsētas. Visā darbā ietvertajā laika posmā visvairāk vecticībnieku ir dzīvojuši Rēzeknes, kā arī Daugavpils apriņķos/rajonos. Toties mūsdienu Balvu novada teritorijā vecticībnieku ir bijis ārkārtīgi maz, par ko liecina arī vecticībnieku draudžu neesamība teritorijā.

In this bachelor’s thesis, the author views the changes of population of Old Believers in Latgale and the changes in the distribution of the population of Old Believers in Latgale between years 1925 and 2011, and, if it is possible, the author tries to find out causes of the changes in the distribution of Old Believers. Old Believers have lived in the territory of Latvia for many centuries, and most of the Old Believers of Latvia have lived in the territory of Latgale. In the viewed period, Latgale has gone through three different times in the history of Latvia- first state independence, soviet times, and second state independence, which goes on until these days. Old Believers in Latgale live mostly in rural areas and small towns rather than cities. In all the viewed span of history, most of Old Believers have lived in districts of Rēzekne and Daugavpils. But in the territory of the district of Balvi, there haven’t been any parishes of Old Believers, which gives evidence of a minimal number of Old Believers in the territory.
