Personāla stigmatizācija aprūpējot HIV pacientus Intensīvās terapijas nodaļās

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma “ Personāla stigmatizācija aprūpējot HIV pacientus Intensīvās terapijas nodaļās”. Darba mērķis ir izzināt un analizēt stigmatizācijas sastopamību Intensīvās terapijas nodaļās aprūpējot HIV pacientus. Pētījumā tika aptaujāti 62 medicīnas darbinieki vecumā no 21 līdz virs 60 gadiem. Darbā tika pielietota kvantitatīvā pētniecības metode – anketēšana. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un pētnieciskās daļas, kā arī pielikumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīta HIV infekcija un HIV stigmatizācija un diskriminācija. Otrajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīts darba teorētiskais pielietojums, izmantojot J.Watson teoriju. Trešajā nodaļā ir aprakstīta pētījuma metodoloģija un iegūtie rezultāti. Bakalaura darba nobeigumā ir izvirzīti galvenie secinājumi. Bakalaura darba kopējais apjoms 51 lappuse. Darbs sastāv no 3 nodaļām un 3 apakšnodaļām, 17 attēliem, izmantoti 28 literatūras avoti, darbam pievienoti 2 Pielikumi. Bakalaura darbā izvirzītā hipotēze: Personāla stigmatizācija ir ikdiena ārstniecības personu saskarsmē aprūpējot HIV pacientus Intensīvās terapijas nodaļās ir daļēji apstiprinājusies, jo, lai arī respondenti nevēlējās atzīt, ka stigmatizācija pastāv, izvērtējot visas atbildes darba autore nonāca pie secinājuma, ka stigmatizācija pastāv, lai gan mazākā apjomā, nekā citur pasaulē.

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is "Staff stigmatization when caring for HIV patients in Intensive Care Units". The aim of this study is to find out and analyze the occurrence of stigmatization during care of HIV patients in intensive care units. The study surveyed 62 medical staff aged 21 to over 60 years. The quantitative research method - questionnaire - was used in this work. The bachelor's thesis includes theory and research, as well as supplementary content. The first chapter describes HIV infection and HIV stigmatization and discrimination. The second chapter describes the theoretical approach to work using J.Watson's theory. The third chapter describes the research methodology and the obtained results. The main conclusions are presented at the end of the bachelor's thesis. The total volume of the bachelor's thesis is 51 pages. The work consists of 3 chapters and 3 subchapters, 17 figures, 28 references, and 2 Attachments. Hypothesis put forward in the bachelor's thesis: Staff stigmatization is a daily occurrence in the treatment of HIV patients in intensive care units, as it was partially confirmed. Although the respondents did not want to admit that stigmatization exists, evaluating all answers, the author came to the conclusion that it does exist, yet on a smaller scale compared to the rest of the world.
