Hemodialīzes pacientu dzīves kvalitāti ietekmējošie faktori, problēmas un to risināšanas iespējas

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Hemodialīzes pacientu dzīves kvalitāti ietekmējošie faktori, problēmas un to risināšanas iespējas”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka hemodialīzes ārstēšanas metode ietekmē pacientu dzīves kvalitāti. Hemodialīzes pacienti sastopas ar atkarību no “mākslīgo nieru” aparāta, nepieciešamību pavadīt daudz laika hemodialīzes sesijās, kustību brīvības ierobežošanu, stingras diētas ievērošanu, invaliditāti, komunikācijas trūkumu, izskata izmaiņām, kas ir spēcīgi stresa faktori un pavada hemodialīzes ārstēšanu. Darba mērķis: noskaidrot faktorus, kas ietekmē hemodialīzes pacientu dzīves kvalitāti. Pētījuma jautājums: kādi ir hemodialīzes pacientu dzīves kvalitāti ietekmējošie faktori? Tika pielietota kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode – intervija ar 12 jautājumiem. Darba teorētiskajā daļā ir apkopota un analizēta informācija par ar veselību saistītām dzīves kvalitātes problēmām hemodialīzes pacientiem, hemodialīzes ietekmi uz pacientu dzīves kvalitāti, hemodialīzes pacientu dzīves kvalitātes uzlabošanas iespējām. Praktiskajā daļā interviju dati analizēti izmantojot kontentanalīzes metodi un apkopoti secinājumu formā. Pamatojoties uz pētījuma rezultātu analīzi, secināts, ka galvenās psiholoģiskās un fizioloģiskās problēmas, ko piedzīvo pacienti, kuriem tiek veikta dialīze, ir fiziskās funkcionēšanas un pašaprūpes ierobežojumi, psiholoģiskas un mentālas pārmaiņas, garīga labklājība, sāpju intensitāte, kā arī blakusparādības hemodialīzes veikšanas dēļ. Uzlabot hemodialīzes pacientu dzīves kvalitāti var ārsta ieteikumu ievērošana saistībā ar uztura un šķidruma uzņemšanas režīmu, fiziskiem aktivitātēm, svara un asinsspiediena kontroli, kā arī hemodialīzes pacientiem nepieciešams ģimenes un draugu psiholoģiskais atbalsts, lai pielāgotos viņu pašreizējam stāvoklim.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is "Factors influencing the quality of life of hemodialysis patients, problems and their solutions". The relevance of the topic is determined by the fact that the method of hemodialysis treatment affects the quality of patients’ life. Hemodialysis patients face dependence on the "artificial kidney" apparatus, the need to spend a lot of time in hemodialysis sessions, restriction of freedom of movement, strict diet, disability, lack of communication, changes in appearance, which are strong stressors and accompany hemodialysis treatment. Aim of the work: to find out the factors that affect the quality of life of hemodialysis patients. Research question: What are the factors influencing the quality of life of hemodialysis patients? A qualitative research method was used - an interview with 12 questions. The theoretical part of the paper summarizes and analyzes information on health-related quality of life problems in hemodialysis patients, the impact of hemodialysis on patients' quality of life, opportunities to improve the quality of life of hemodialysis patients. In the practical part, the interview data are analyzed using the content analysis method and summarized in the form of conclusions. Based on the analysis of the results of the study, it was concluded that the main psychological and physiological problems experienced by dialysis patients are limitations of physical functioning and self-care, psychological and mental changes, mental well-being, pain intensity, and side effects due to hemodialysis. Following a doctor's recommendations regarding diet and fluid intake, physical activity, weight and blood pressure control can improve the quality of life of hemodialysis patients. Moreover, hemodialysis patients need psychological support from family and friends to adjust to their current condition.
