Pētījuma bāze: pirmsskolas izglītības iestāde, pirmā jaunākā grupa (I posms), bērnu vecums ir no 2 gadiem līdz 3 gadiem, 19 audzēkņi - 9 meitenes, 10 puikas. Pētījuma daļā tika izmantotas sekojošās metodes: pedagoģiskā bērnu novērošana; pedagoga praktiskā darbība. Runas attīstības noteikšanas metodika sastāv no uzdevumiem, katram uzdevumam tiek piešķirti punkti. The qualification paper is entitled "Speech promotion in early childhood through play and exercises". The relevance of the study was determined by the problem of increasing speech activity. This is one of the most pressing problems in early childhood speech theory and practice because language is created, shaped, and developed through communication. Early childhood speech is the simplest, most natural form of communication and develops in a child with the first spoken words. By the age of seven, it should be well developed. In addition, speech activity cannot be increased without the acquisition of linguistic and non-verbal means of communication. The study aims to identify different play sets for speech development and vocabulary formation in young children. The qualification consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part analyses pedagogical, psychological, scientific and methodological literature on speech development in early childhood. The practical part of the qualification paper consists of a three-phase study: diagnostic phase; experimental phase; control phase. Study background: pre-school educational institution, first younger group (stage I), age from 2 to 3 years, 19 children - 9 girls, 10 boys. The following methods are used in the research part: pedagogical observation of children; practical activity of the teacher. The speech development assessment consists of tasks, each of which is scored. The overall level of development of a particular skill is determined by summing the scores for each task and calculating the average. As a result, through play, children at an early age develop not only their speech but also their skills and abilities, their ability to perceive, and their perception of the diversity of the world around them. Children develop and activate attention and attentiveness, memory, thinking and imagination while playing. As a result, the research hypothesis is confirmed. Keywords: SPEECH DEVELOPMENT, CHILDREN'S SPEECH DEVELOPMENT, SPEECH AND LANGUAGE, CHILDREN'S SPEECH, GAMES AND SPEECH EXERCISES, THROUGH PLAY. The volume of the qualification paper is 76 pages, 7 figures, 6 tables, 3 annexes and 61 references.
