dc.description.abstract | Social skills ensure social adaptation, form and maintain existing social relationships and have a long-term and short-term impact on an individual's life. Therefore, preschool age is a crucial period for the development of children's social skills. The aim of the research: to study the development of children's social skills and to develop pedagogical tasks for the promotion of social skills through cooperation in a group of 5-6 year old children. Research hypothesis: By cooperating in a group it is possible to promote the development of social skills of 5-6 year old children. Results obtained: The results of the research hypothesis have been confirmed, because children, after the pedagogical pilot activity, in which group activities were integrated, achieved higher achievements in the development of social skills. This means that children have better cooperation, communication and listening skills, the ability to live with peers, make friends, build healthy relationships, protect themselves and, in general, be able to work harmoniously with peers.
