Abstract

Darba veids: diplomdarbs Darba apjoms: 46 lappuses, 62 bibliogrāfiskie nosaukumi, 4 attēli, 2 tabulas, 7 pielikumi Darba mērķis ir apzināt skolēnu un skolotāju pieredzi svešvalodu apguvē, analizējot mācību metožu dažādību un akcentējot kinestētisko metožu izmantošanu. Tiek analizēti pētījumi par mācīšanās stilu nozīmi, nodrošinot efektīvu mācību procesu, un nepieciešamību piemērot mācību metodes visiem skolēniem, paaugstinot skolēnu motivāciju, sekmes un pašvērtējumu. Skolotājiem jāattīsta prasme atpazīt savu mācīšanās un mācīšanas stilu un līdzsvarot to ar skolēnu stilu. Kaut arī pētījumi pierāda kinestētisko mācību metožu pozitīvo ietekmi, skolēni ar kinestētiskām mācīšanās vajadzībām atrodas nelabvēlīgā situācijā, jo skolotāji tās izmanto reti; mācību līdzekļi satur maz kinestētisko uzdevumu. Aptaujā tiek noskaidrots, kādi mācīšanās stili piemīt trīs vispārizglītojošo skolu skolēniem un svešvalodu skolotājiem, un kā viņi vērtē kinestētisko metožu ietekmi. Pierādās, ka kinestētiskās metodes skolā ir nepietiekami izmantots resurss; pastāv neatbilstība starp to, cik pozitīvi skolēni uztver kinestētisko metožu pielietošanu un cik maz tās tiek piedāvātas. Autore aprobē metodes, kas, izmantojot kustības, smaržas, garšas un pozitīvas emocijas, veido pozitīvu vidi, atbalstošu klases kopienu, palīdz saprast mācīto un, nogulstoties ķermeņa atmiņā, zināšanas un prasmes saglabājas ilgtermiņā.

Prof. Type of the Paper: Diploma Paper Volume of the Paper: 46 pages, 62 bibliographic titles, 4 graphs, 2 tables, 7 appendixes The aim of the work is to explore students and teachers’ experience in learning foreign languages by analyzing different teaching methods and emphasizing the use of kinesthetic methods. The author analyzes research on the importance of learning styles in ensuring an effective learning process and the need to apply teaching methods according to all students’needs by that increasing students' motivation, achievement and self-esteem. Teachers need to develop the ability to recognize their learning and teaching style and balance it with the students' style. Research shows the positive effects of kinesthetic teaching methods, however, students with kinesthetic learning needs are left at a disadvantage since these methods are seldom used by teachers; teaching matherials contain only some kinesthetic tasks. The survey explores the learning styles of students and foreign language teachers as well as their assessment of the impact of kinesthetic methods in three seconday schools. Kinesthetic methods prove to be an underused resource in school; there is a disagreement between how positive students evaluate the impacts of kinesthetic methods and how little these methods are used in learning process. The author approbates her methods that create a positive environment, a supportive class community and help the students understand and retain what they have learned in the long run by embedding it in body memory by using movements, smell, taste and positive emotions.
