Profesiju izpētes metodes priekšmetā “Dizains un tehnoloģijas” skolēnu sagatavošanai tālākizglītības izvēlei

Abstract

Darba autori diplomdarbā “Profesiju izpētes metodes priekšmetā “Dizains un tehnoloģijas” skolēnu sagatavošanai tālākizglītības izvēlei” izstrādāja un aprobēja trīs veida metodes, kas balstītas veiktajā literatūras izpētē. Teorētiskajā daļā ir apskatītas skolēnu tālākās izglītības izvēles, to statistika un kādi projekti tiek piedāvāti Latvijā un pasaulē, lai veicinātu skolēnu izpratni par profesiju specifiku, kas palīdz skolēniem pieņemt lēmumus, kāda profesija viņus interesē vairāk un ko izvēlēties tālāk studēt. Pētījuma daļā tika izstrādāta anketa, lai noteiktu skolēnu izpratni par dažādajām prasmēm un zināšanām, kas integrējas vienā profesijā, un to, kur var apgūt šīs profesijas. Anketas mērķis ir secināt skolēnu zināšanu un izpratnes līmeņa atšķirības, izmantojot konkrētu profesijas izpētes metodi vai apgūstot saturu bez tās. Iegūtie dati tika apstrādāti, izmantojot matemātiski statistiskās metodes. Lai uzlabotu skolēnu studējošo skaitu profesionālās izglītības iestādēs, ir svarīgi veicināt skolēnos izpratni un ieinteresētību par dažādajām profesijām un to specifiku.

The authors of the dissertation in the diploma thesis “Profession research methods in the subject “Design and technologies” for preparing primary school students for the choice of further education” developed and tested three types of methods based on the performed literature research. The theoretical part deals with primary school students’ further education choices, their statistics and what projects are offered in Latvia and in the world in order to promote students' understanding of the specifics of different professions, that helps students to make decisions, which profession they are more interested in and what to choose for further studies. In the research part authors developed a questionnaire to determine students' understanding of the different skills and knowledge that integrate into one profession and where these professions can be acquired. The aim of the questionnaire is to conclude the differences in the level of knowledge and understanding of students, using a specific research method of the profession or learning the content without any special method. The obtained data were processed using mathematical statistical methods. In order to increase the number of students in vocational education institutions, it is important to promote students' understanding and interest in different professions and their specifics.
