Pamatskolas skolēnu globālās kompetences veicināšana skolotāju skatījumā (Korejas gadījums)

Abstract

Ceturtā industriālā revolūcija ir radījusi daudzas pārmaiņas. Pasaule kļuva tuvāka un neprognozējamāka. Lai kļūtu par pasaules pilsoni, tagad ir svarīgi būt apveltītam ar globālo kompetenci. OECD PISA 2018 vērtējumā Korejas skolēni sasniedza augstus rezultātus lasīšanā, dabaszinātnēs un matemātikā, tomēr uzrādīja salīdzinoši zemus vidējos rādītājus jautājumos "interese par citām kultūrām" un "kognitīvā pielāgošanās spēja". Darbs veltīts pētījumam, lai izprastu pašreizējo situāciju par globālo kompetenci izglītībā Dienvidkorejas pamatskolās. Autore raksturo globālās kompetences jēdzienu un globālās kompetences attīstības situāciju Korejā. Darba mērķis ir atrast šķēršļus, kas kavē globālās kompetences attīstību, un to novēršanas veidus sākumskolas līmenī atbilstoši skolotāju uztverei. Lai atklātu šo problēmu, tiek veikta Korejas valsts mācību programmas analīze, aptauja un intervija ar Korejas pamatskolas skolotājiem.

The fourth industrial revolution has caused many changes. The world became closer and unpredictable. To be a global citizen in the world, now it is essential to be equipped with global competence. In the OECD PISA 2018, Korean students achieved high scores in reading, science, and mathematics. However, they appeared relatively low mean indexes in the questions ‘interest in other cultures’ and ‘cognitive adaptability’. The thesis is devoted to the research to understand current situation about global competence in education in Korean elementary school. The author characterizes the concept of global competence, the situation of the development of global competence in Korea. The aim of the thesis is to find obstacles hindering the development of global competence and the ways of removing them on elementary school level according to teachers’ perception. Analysis of national curriculum of Korea, questionnaire, and interview with Korean elementary school are conducted to reveal this problem.
