Netīšās prokrastinācijas saistība ar bērnības traumatisko pieredzi un vecāku audzināšanas stilu

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas saistības pastāv starp netīšo prokrastināciju un fizisku, emocionālu, seksuālu bērnības vardarbības pieredzi un autoritāru, autoritatīvu un pieļāvīgu vecāku audzināšanas stilu, un kurš no mainīgajiem visvairāk prognozē netīšo prokrastināciju. Pētījumā piedalījās 172 respondenti – 17 vīrieši un 155 sievietes vecumā no 18 līdz 76 gadiem (M = 42,92; SD = 10,5). Pētījumā tika izmantotas trīs aptaujas - Bērnības traumas aptauja (Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), Fink&Bernstein, 1995), Vecāku audzināšanas stila aptauja (Parental Authority Questionnaire, Buri, 1991) un Netīšās prokrastinācijas aptauja (Unintentional Procrastination Scale (UPS), Ferniel, Bharucha, Nikčevič, Spada (2017)), kas šī pētījuma ietvaros tika adaptēta. Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka pastāv statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp netīšo prokrastināciju un bērnības emocionālās vardarbības pieredzi un autoritāru un autoritatīvu vecāku audzināšanas stilu. Netīši prokrastinējošu uzvedību visvairāk prognozē bērnības emocionālās vardarbības pieredze. Pētījumā netika konstatēta statistiski nozīmīga netīšās prokrastinācijas saistība ar bērnības traumatisko pieredzi – fizisku un seksuālu vardarbību, kā arī pieļāvīgo vecāku audzināšanas stilu. Pētījuma ietvaros adaptētā Netīšās prokrastinācijas aptauja uzrādīja labu, oriģinālai aptaujai atbilstošu iekšējo saskaņotību.

The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between unintentional procrastination and childhood physical, emotional and sexual abuse experience and authoritarian, authoritative and permissive parenting style, and which of variables most predict unintentional procrastination.. In this study participate 172 respondents – 17 men and 155 women 18 to 76 years old (M = 42,92; SD = 10,5). In the study were used yhree surveys - Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) (Fink&Bernstein, 1995), Parental Authority Questionnaire (Buri, 1991) and Unintentional Procrastination Scale (UPS) (Ferniel, Bharucha, Nikčevič, Spada, 2017). Unintentional procrastination Scale was adapted within this Master thesis. The results showed statistically significant relationship between unintentional procrastination and childhood emotional abuse experience and authoritarian and authoritative parenting style. The unintentionaly procrastinating behavior is most predicted by the experience of childhood emotional abuse. The study did not find a statistically significant relationship between unintentional procrastination and childhood traumatic experience - physical and sexual abuse, as well as the permissive parenting style. Unintentional Procrastination Scale, adapted as part of the study, showed a good internal consistency corresponding to the original survey.
