Librarian work engagement in one employee public libraries is one of the aspects for qualitative and effective daily process performance. By identifying the factors involved in employee engagement, it is possible to identify and improve the engagement of librarians in their work. The aim of the study is to find out whether librarians working in one employee’s public libraries are engaged in their work and what factors influence their work engagement. In the framework of the research, librarians of one employee public libraries were surveyed and interviewed. The results of the research indicate that librarians that work in public one employee libraries are engaged in their work on average two days a week, however, there are several existing factors that hinder the full librarian engagement. The Utrecht Work Engagement Scale and content analysis were used to obtain the results.
