Bachelor thesis “Using manipulation techniques to distribute Covid-19 disinformation: example of Facebook pages” has been designed to study the most common manipulative techniques of COVID-19 disinformation on Facebook pages. The theoretical base of work consists of an overview of social media, media literacy, disinformation, manipulation and its tactics. The problem of work that has been raised: with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, false news appears in the social network information room, which directly affects people's thinking and behaviour. In the empirical part of the work, three methods are used: interviews with PR and social media professionals; a survey to find out the attitude of Facebook users; a content analysis to find out what manipulation tactics are used in COVID-19 disinformation.
