Bakalaura darba “Ģimenes atspoguļojums sociālajā tīklā “Instagram”: dzimtes stereotipu izvērtējums 2020. gadā” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāda tipa ģimenes visbiežāk ir pārstāvētas Latvijas iedzīvotāju “Instagram” profilos, analizēt, kādā kontekstā tiek ievietots ģimeni atspoguļojošs saturs, kā arī apskatīt tajā sastopamos dzimtes stereotipus. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīta sociālās realitātes konstruēšana, ģimenes teorētiskās pieejas un tipi, stereotipi un to lietojums, dzimtes stereotipi, sociālo lomu teorija un sevis reprezentēšana. Metodoloģijā aplūkotas pētījumā izmantotās metodes: kontentanalīze, aptauja un fokusa grupa. Rezultāti liecina par to, ka pārsvarā sociālā tīkla “Instagram” saturā atspoguļots nukleāras ģimenes tips, kā arī izteiktākie dzimtes stereotipi sastopami nukleāru ģimeņu publicētajā saturā. The aim of bachelor’s thesis “Family portrayal on social network “Instagram”: evaluation of gender stereotypes in 2020” is to find out which types of families are represented the most in latvian “Instagram” accounts, to analyze context and evaluate gender stereotypes in content of family portrayal. The theoretic part of the research deals with social construction of reality, theoretical approaches to family, family types, definitions and applications of stereotypes, gender stereotypes, theory of social roles and self representation. The methodology describes methods used in research – content analysis, survey and focus group discussion. The results show that the most common family type portrayed on social network “Instagram” is nuclear family. In addition gender stereotypes appear the most in nuclear family type as well.
