dc.description.abstract | The subject of the Bachelor's work is “Factors of consumers choice in retail shops: Top! and Mego example”. The job aims to find out what factors the consumer chooses for the store network and how the consumer is currently shopping in the “Top!” and/or “Mego” shops, also considering the constraints of the Covid-19 situation, looking at it all through the prism of marketing communication and the marketing approach chosen by the brands. In theory, the author views brand and communication theories, a theory of marketing and consumer. Two interviews, a survey, and a qualitative content analysis were created to reach the work's aim. Interviews with “Mego” and “Top!” marketing representatives showed how brands create a marketing plan that includes how brands communicate. The survey shows how consumers shop, why they choose the shop, and how they value brand marketing communications. The method of qualitative content analysis looks at and analyses the social networks of both brands. As a result, it can be concluded that “Top!” and “Mego” develop a detailed marketing plan that has been tested in practice since, compared to the data obtained in the survey, it is possible to see that the audience receives information from the channels used and appreciates factors such as shops' cleanliness, assortment, good price, and shop atmosphere.
