Digitālie rīki un tehnoloģijas ir neatņemamas mūsdienu izglītības procesa sastāvdaļas. Taču to izmantošana vienlaikus ir liels izaicinājums izglītības procesa dalībniekiem. Pētnieki ir norādījuši, ka ir daudz šķēršļu, lai izglītības procesu padarītu jēgpilnāku, tāpēc skolotājiem jāpilnveido savas digitālas prasmes. Analizējot zinātniskus pētījumus par digitāliem rīkiem un tehnoloģijām, ir svarīgi zināt, kādam mērķim tie tiek lietoti, kādām Informācijas un komunikācijas tehnoloģijām (IKT) dod priekšroku Z paaudzes skolēni un to vecāki, kādi ir respondentu lietošanas paradumi. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādas ir iespējas pilnveidot izglītības procesu, izmantojot digitālos rīkus un tehnoloģijas darbā ar 6.klases skolēniem. Gan darbā ar skolēniem, gan pētījumu dati parāda, ka jēgpilnu un interaktīvu izglītības procesu padara rīki Kahoot un Menti.com, vienlaikus saņemot lielu atbalstu par to lietošanu no vecāku un vecvecāku puses. Digital tools and technologies are important parts of today's educational process. However, using them is a big challenge for the participants of the educational process. Researchers have pointed out that there are many obstacles in making the educational process more meaningful, so teachers need to improve their digital skills. When analyzing scientific research on the use of digital tools and technologies, it is important to know for what purpose they are used, what ICT prefer generation Z students and their parents, what are the respondents' technology usage habits. The aim of the study is to find out what are the possibilities to improve the educational process by using digital tools and technologies in work with 6th grade students. Both, working with students and research data show that the tools like Kahoot and Menti.com make educational process meaningful and interactive. Besides, the usage of these tools receives strong support from parents and grandparents.
