Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma “Adaptācijas process personām ar garīga rakstura traucējumiem sociālās aprūpes institūcijās Raunas novadā”. Diplomdarba mērķis ir noskaidrot kā sociālā darba speciālisti veicina adaptāciju personām ar garīga rakstura traucējumiem ilgstošas sociālās aprūpes institūcijās. Darbā aplūkoti adaptācijas procesa un personu ar garīga rakstura traucējumiem jēdzieni. Aplūkota uz mērķi centrētā un sistēmu teorija. Aplūkota institucionālā aprūpe personām ar garīga rakstura traucējumiem, aprakstīta arī “Pansijas Rauna” un Gatartas pansionāta darbība. Pētījums veikts pielietojot kvalitatīvo pētniecības metodi, kur kā pētniecības instruments izmantota daļēji strukturēta intervija. Analīzes dati iegūti no deviņām daļēji strukturētām intervijām ar sociālā darba speciālistiem un sociālās aprūpes centru klientiem. Rezultātā iegūts apstiprinājums hipotēzei, ka sociālā darba speciālistu un aprūpes personāla vadīts adaptācijas process veicina personu ar garīga rakstura traucējumiem adaptāciju sociālās aprūpes centrā maksimāli īsākā laika periodā.

Diploma thesis subject is “Adaptation process for persons with mental disorders in social care institutions in Rauna region”. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how social work specialists promote adaptation of persons with mental disorders in long-term social care institutions. The definition of the adaptation process was studied in the diploma thesis as well as the definition of persons with mental disorders. Viewed object-centered and systems theory, as well as institutional care for persons with mental disorders, also described operational process of “Pansijas Rauna” and “Gatartas” social care centers. The research was performed using a qualitative research method, where a semi-structured interview was used as a research tool. The data for analysis were obtained from nine semi-structured interviews with social work specialists and The analysis data were obtained from nine semi-structured interviews with social work specialists and clients from social care centers. As a result, the hypothesis that the adaptation process, led by social work specialists and carers facilitates the adaptation process for persons with mental disorders in the social care centers in the shortest possible period of time, has been confirmed.
