Jauniešu karjeru veicinoša svešvalodu apguves organizācija ‘X’ pilsētas vidusskolās

Abstract

Santas Krūmiņas maģistra darbs pedagoģijā “Jauniešu karjeru veicinoša svešvalodu apguves organizācija X pilsētas vidusskolās” izstrādāts Latvijas Universitātē docents Dr. paed. Ingūnas Lāces vadībā laikā no 2018. gada līdz 2021. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot teorētiskos pamatus un empīriski pārbaudītus jauniešu karjeru veicinošas svešvalodu apguves organizācijas nosacījumus vidusskolā. Tas dod iespēju pārbaudīt pētījuma hipotēzi: skolēnu karjeras attīstība tiek veicināta, ja svešvalodas mācību priekšmeta skolotāji ir apzinājuši jauniešu karjeru veicinošus pedagoģiskos uzdevumus un izvēlas tiem atbilstošas mācību metodes un paņēmienus. Pētījuma bāze ir divu X pilsētas vidusskolu 10.-12. klases aptaujātie 81 skolēni un intervētie 4 svešvalodu skolotāji. Pedagoģiskajā novērojumā novērotas kopā abās vidusskolās 30 krievu un vācu valodas stundas. Pedagoģiskā izmēģinājuma darbību veikšanai organizētas un analizētas pašas autores angļu valodas stundas. Maģistra darba 1. nodaļā “Jauniešu karjeru veicinoša svešvalodu apguves organizācijas teorētiskais pamatojums” veikta zinātniskās literatūras un avotu izpēte par jauniešu karjeras attīstību ietekmējošiem faktoriem, karjeras izglītības standarta nostādnēm vispārējās izglītības posmā un svešvalodu didaktikas mācību metodēm un paņēmieniem, kas veicina jauniešu karjeras attīstību. Izveidota tabula par jauniešu karjeru attīstību ietekmējošo izpausmju rādītājiem un to atbilstošām svešvalodu metodēm, paņēmieniem, līdzekļiem un formām, balstoties uz darbā analizēto un zinātniski pamatotu karjeras attīstības faktoru veicināšanu svešvalodu stundu organizācijā. Maģistra darba 2. daļā “Jauniešu karjeru veicinošu svešvalodu stundu organizācijas izpētes rezultāti” atklāta esošā situācija par karjeras izglītības integrēšanu svešvalodu mācību stundās vidusskolas klasēs; pedagoģiskajā novērojumā atklāts, ka svešvalodu stundās netiek pietiekami integrēta karjeras izglītība, līdz ar to veicināta jauniešu karjeras attīstība, par ko liecina arī skolēnu aptaujās iegūtie dati. Svešvalodu skolotāju intervijās un pedagoģiskā izmēģinājuma darbību analīzē atklāts, ka nepieciešams mainīt stundu organizāciju, pielietot dažādas metodes un metodiskos paņēmienus, lai īstenotu karjeras izglītības integrēšanu mācību stundās un veicinātu jauniešu karjeras attīstību. Balstoties uz analīzes rezultātiem, izstrādāti ieteikumi metožu un metodisko paņēmienu pielietojumam mācību stundās jauniešu karjeras attīstības un caurviju prasmju attīstīšanas veicināšanai skolēniem.

Santa Krūmiņa's master thesis in pedagogy "Youth career-promoting foreign language learning organization in X city secondary schools" has been worked out at the University of Latvia during the period from 2018 to 2021 under supervision of Prof. Dr. paed. Ingūna Lāce. The aim of the study is to find out the theoretical foundations and empirically tested conditions for the organisation of career-enhancing foreign language learning for young people in secondary school. It enables to test the research hypothesis: students' career development is promoted if teachers of a foreign language subject are aware of the pedagogical tasks of promoting young people's careers and choose appropriate teaching methods and techniques. The study was based on a survey of 81 students in grades 10-12 in two secondary schools in the city of X and interviews with 4 foreign language teachers. The pedagogical observation covered a total of 30 Russian and German lessons in the two secondary schools. The author's own English lessons have been organized and analysed for the performance of pedagogical pilot activities. The first part of the thesis “Theoretical basis of the organization of foreign language learning that promotes career development of young people" has carried out with research of scientific literature and sources on factors influencing career development of young people, the provisions of the career education standard at the general education stage and teaching methods and techniques of foreign language didactics that promote career development of young people. A table has been created on the indicators of manifestations affecting the career development of young people and their corresponding methods, techniques, means and forms of foreign language teaching. In the second part of thesis “Results of a study on the organization of career-enhancing foreign language lessons for young people” acknowledges the current situation regarding the integration of career education into foreign language lessons in secondary school classes; the pedagogical observation reveals that career education is not sufficiently integrated into foreign language lessons, thus promoting the career development of young people. Interviews with foreign language teachers and analysis of pedagogical pilot activities have acknowledged the need to change the organization of lessons, to apply different methods and methodical techniques in order to implement the integration of career education into lessons and to promote the career development of young people. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations have been developed for the application of methods and methodological techniques in lessons to promote the development of young people's career and the development of transversal skills for students.
