Īso stāstu lasīšanas uzdevumi priekš vārdu krājuma paplašināšanas 8.klasē

Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma tika izvēlēta sakarā ar to, ka 8.klases skolēnu pārbaudes darbos, rakstiskajā daļā netika izmantota plaša leksika. Viens no visizplatītakajiem iemesliem, kāpēc angļu valodas kā otrās valodas apguvēji nespēj izveidot efektīvu saziņu, proti, rakstisku vai mutisku, ir leksikas trūkums. Ir arī zināms fakts, ka skolēniem ar lasīšanas grūtībām, ir ierobežota leksika. Anketas, klases telpas piezīmes no mācību stundām, pārbaudes darbi tika izmantotas kā datu vākšanas metodes, lai iegūtu datus, ko analizēt Diplomdarba empīriskajā daļā. Tika atklāts, ka īsie stāsti palīdz skolēniem apgūt neliela daudzuma leksikas zināšanas, kā arī baudīt tās procesu, ja skolotājs izvēlas īsos stāstus pēc skolēnu interesēm. Viens no lielākajiem izaicinājumiem ir izglītojamo motivācija piedalīties klases darbā, īpaši, ja tas ir paradzēts attālinātāc mācībās.

The Diploma Paper topic was chosen because of the lack of vocabulary usage in the written part of the tests in Grade 8. One of the most common reasons for ESL learners' failure to develop effective communication, whether written or oral, is a lack of vocabulary. It is common knowledge that students with reading difficulties have limited vocabulary. Questionnaires, field notes, achievement tests were used as data collection methods to get the data to analyze in the empirical part of the Paper. It was found out that short stories do help students to acquire some vocabulary knowledge, as well as they enjoy the process of it, if the teacher chooses the story from the learners’ interests. The biggest challenge is learner motivation to participate in the classwork, especially if it is set in remote learning mode.
