Bulings un tā saistība ar akadēmiskiem sasniegumiem skolēniem vecumposmā no 14 līdz 17 gadiem

Pētījuma tika pētīta saistība starp bulingu un akadēmiskiem sasniegumiem skolēniem vecumposmā no 14 līdz 17 gadiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 61 skolēns vecumposmā no 14 līdz 17 gadiem no dažādām Latvijas skolām. Bulinga rādītāju noteikšanā tika izmantota Dana Olveusa Vardarbības aptauja (Olweus Bullying Questionnaire (OBQ); Olweus, 1996), akadēmiskais sasniegums tika noteikts pēc pēdējā semestra vērtējuma. Saistības noteikšanai starp bulinga rādītāju un akadēmiskiem sasniegumiem tika izmantots Spīrmena korelācijas koeficienta aprēķins. Rezultāti uzrāda, ka starp bulinga abām skalām un akadēmiskiem sasniegumiem pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas pretējas saistības. Jo augstāki ir bulinga rādītāji, jo skolēnam ir lielāka tendence uz zemākiem vērtējumiem. The study examined the relationship between bullying and academic achievement in students aged 14 to 17 years. The study involved 61 students aged 14 to 17 from various Latvian schools. Bullying indicators was determined by Olweus Bullying Questionnaire (OBQ; Olweus, 1996), academic achievement was determined by the evaluation of the last semester. The calculation of the Spearman correlation coefficient was used to determine the relationship between the bullying indicator and academic achievement. The results showed that there is a statistically significant opposite relationship between the two scales of bullying and academic achievement. The higher the bullying scores, the greater the tendency for the student to score lower.
