Latvijas Bibliotekāru biedrība: vēsturiskie notikumi un jaunāko gadu norises

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt ar Latvijas Bibliotekāru biedrību (LBB) un tās valdi saistītus vēsturiskos notikumus, to veidus un pārmaiņu tendences laika posmā no LBB dibināšanas 1923. gadā līdz 2014. gadam un izstrādāt biedrības notikumu hronoloģiju, kā arī pētīt viedokļus par LBB jaunāko gadu (2014.–2021. gada) norisēm, jo līdz šim informācija bijusi pieejama tikai izkliedētā vai daļēji apkopotā veidā. Pētījums izstrādāts, pētot vēsturiskos un sociālos procesus skaidrojošas teorijas (vēsturiskuma metateorija un sociālās apmaiņas teorija), veicot arhīva dokumentu, rakstu periodikā un citu publikāciju analīzi un ekspertu – LBB valdes locekļu un biedru – anketēšanu. Darba rezultātā apkopoti un analizēti ar LBB un tās valdi saistīti vēsturiskie notikumi, izstrādāta minēto notikumu hronoloģija trijās daļās (1923–1940; 1988–1989; 1989–2014), kā arī izpētīti viedokļi par biedrības jaunāko gadu norisēm un to nepieciešamām pārmaiņām.

The aim of the master thesis is to explore historical events of the Library Association of Latvia (LAL) and its board, types, and tendencies of those events changes in the time since LAL founding in 1923 till 2014, to create LAL events chronology, and to explore opinions about LAL recent years (2014–2021) processes because information yet was in various sources or only in a partly summarized way. Research carried out studying theories which explain historical and social processes (historicism metatheory and social exchange theory), accomplishing archival documents, reports in periodicals and other publications analysis and expert – LAL board members and LAL members – survey. As a result, summarized and analyzed historical events of LAL and its board, created a chronology of those events in three parts (1923–1940; 1988–1989; 1989–2014), and explored opinions about LAL’ recent years processes and necessary changes of them.
