Latvijas iedzīvotāju novecošanās radītie riski darba tirgum.

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir pētījums par Latvijas iedzīvotāju novecošanās radītajiem riskiem darba tirgum. Novecošanās rezultātā pastāv risks, ka Latvijas darba resursi izsīks. Iedzīvotāju novecošanās Latvijā ir aktuāla problēma, kas spēj radīt dažāda veida riskus darba tirgum un valstij kopumā, līdz ar to darba ietvaros tiek identificēti minētie riski un izvērtētas to mazināšanas vai arī pat novēršanas iespējas, kas pamato dotās tēmas aktualitāti. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izvērtēt Latvijas iedzīvotāju novecošanos un tās rādīto ietekmi uz darba tirgu, identificējot riskus. Darba nobeigumā apkopota, pētītā informācija un izdarīti secinājumi, kas noved pie atziņas, ka novecošanās rezultātā būtiskākie riski ir saistīti ar darba spējīgā vecuma cilvēku samazināšanos un darbinieku trūkumu noteiktās jomās vai profesijās. Viena no aktuālākajām problēmām Latvijas senioriem ir zemais veselības stāvokļa pašvērtējums, kas attiecīgi ierobežo šo personu darba spējas gan pirms, gan pēc pensijas vecuma sasniegšanas.

The master's thesis is a study of the risks to the labor market caused by the aging of the Latvian population. As a result of aging, there is a risk that Latvia's labor resources will be depleted. The aging of the population in Latvia is a topical problem that is able to create various risks to the labor market and the country as a whole, thus the work identifies the mentioned risks and evaluates the possibilities of their reduction or even prevention, which justifies the topicality of the given topic. The aim of the master's thesis is to evaluate the aging of the Latvian population and its impact on the labor market by identifying risks. At the end of the work, the researched information is summarized and conclusions are drawn, which lead to the conclusion that the most significant risks as a result of aging are related to the decrease in the working age population and the shortage of employees in certain fields or professions. One of the most pressing problems for Latvian seniors is the low self-assessment of their health status, which respectively limits their ability to work both before and after reaching retirement age.
