Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Ceļojuma apdrošināšana un Covid-19 ietekme uz to”. Pēc autora viedokļa tēma ir ļoti aktuāla. Bakalaura darba pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt, kā pasaules mēroga pandēmija COVID-19 ietekmēja Latvijas ceļojuma apdrošināšanas tirgu. Izpētīt, kā apdrošināšanas tirgus pielāgojās jauniem apstākļiem, salīdzināt apdrošināšanas tirgus dalībniekus. Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām, kur pirmajā daļā tiek aprakstīts apdrošināšanas raksturojums un būtība, detalizētāk arī tieši ceļojuma apdrošināšana. Otrajā pētījuma daļā tiek vākta un analizēta dažāda statistika par Latvijas apdrošināšanas tirgus datiem. Trešajā sadaļā tiek analizēta un pētīta tieši Covid-19 ietekme uz nozari, konkrēto apdrošināšanas produktu, kā arī to sekas. Darba noslēgumā tiek apkopoti secinājumi par iegūtiem datiem.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is "Travel insurance and the impact of Covid-19 on it". According to the author, the topic is very current. The aim of the bachelor's thesis research and analyse how the global pandemic COVID-19 affected the Latvian travel insurance market. To study how the insurance market adapted to new conditions, to compare insurance market participants. The work consists of three chapters with subchapters, where the first chapter describes the nature and essence of insurance, more specifically travel insurance. In the second chapter of the study, various statistics on Latvian insurance market data are collected and analysed. The third chapter analyses and studies the impact of Covid-19 on the insurance industry, the specific insurance product, and their consequences. At the end of the work, the conclusions about the obtained data are summarized.
