Tekstilmateriālu reciklēšanas aktualitāte Latvijā un izmantošanai perspektīvās metodes

Abstract

Apģērba un tekstilmateriālu ražošanas un lietošanas laikā tiek izdalītas dažādas ķīmiskas vielas un mikrošķiedras, kas piesārņo vidi un rada būtisku kaitējumu ūdens organismiem un arī cilvēkiem. Palielinoties populācijai un ātrajai modei kļūstot aizvien aktuālākai, tekstilatkritumu daudzums aizvien palielinās. Lai mazinātu šīs industrijas ietekmi uz vidi, nepieciešams šī brīža lineāro ekonomikas modeli aizstāt ar cirkulāro jeb aprites modeli, un pēc iespējas vairāk izmantot jau esošās šķiedras, tādējādi mazinot nepieciešamību pēc jaunu šķiedru ieguves un, līdz ar to, arī ietekmi uz vidi. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt dažāda veida tekstilmateriālu ražošanas apjomus un atkārtotas izmantošanas un reciklēšanas aktualitāti, analizēt jau pielietotās tekstilmateriālu reciklēšanas metodes, kā arī izstrādāt ieteikumus tekstilmateriālu pārstrādei Latvijā, ar mērķi samazināt atkritumu poligonos nonākošo tekstilmateriālu daudzumu un ar to saistīto vides piesārņojumu. Maģistra darba izstrādes rezultātā tika secināts, ka nepieciešams uzlabot esošo tekstilmateriālu dalītās vākšanas sistēmu, izveidojot valsts atbalstītu monopolu, kā arī veicināt pārstrādes risinājumu izstrādi, veidojot inovāciju ekosistēmas un iesaistot sabiedrību ar informatīvu pasākumu palīdzību un tekstiliju depozītsistēmas izveidi. Maģistra darbu veido teorētiskās literatūras apskats, četras daļēji strukturētās intervijas, gadījumu analīze, politisko dokumentu analīze, iedzīvotāju anketēšanas rezultāti un to analīze, kā arī izstrādātie priekšlikumi tekstilatkritumu daudzuma samazināšanai Latvijā. Darbā ietverti 18 attēli un 3 pielikumi.

During the production of clothing and textile materials, different chemicals and microfibers are released, that pollute the environment and cause significant negative impact on aquatic organisms and also humans. With the population increasing and the fast fashion becoming more significant, the amount of textile waste only increases. To lessen the impact of this industry on environment, it is crutial to switch from the linear economy model to circular, and to use already existing fibers as much as possible, hence redusing the need for the production of new fibers and therefore also the impact on the environment. The purpose of this masters thesis is to explore the production amount of various types of textile materials and the necessity of recycling and reusing, to analyse recycling methods that are already being used and to develop recommendations for the textile recycling in Latvia, in order to reduce the amounts of textile waste going to the landfill and the environmental pollution that is causes. As a result of the masters thesis in was concluded, that it is necessary to improve the existing system of separated collection of textile materials by creating a government supported monopoly, and to encourage the development of recycling solutions by forming ecosystems of innovations and involving the society with the help of informative events and creating a deposit system for textiles. Masters thesis consists of the literature review, four partially structured interviews, case-study analysis, the analysis of political documents, the results and analysis of a citizen survey and developed recommendations in order to reduce the amount of textile waste in Latvia.
