Kolorektālā vēža, simptomu, riska faktoru un skrīninga zināšanu novērtēšana Latvijā: uz aptauju balstīts pētījums

Abstract

Maģistra darba “ Kolorektālā vēža, simptomu, riska faktoru un skrīninga zināšanu novērtēšana Latvijā: uz aptauju balstīts pētījums” aktualitāti noteica, redzot lielo kolorektālā vēža (KRV) izplatību Latvijā (1). Pētījuma mērķis bija salīdzināt zināšanu līmeni par kolorektālo vēzi, to simptomiem, riska faktoriem un skrīningu Latvijā cilvēkiem līdz 50 gadu vecumam (pirms valsts apmaksātās skrīninga iespējas) un tiem, kas bija vecāki par 50 gadiem. Pētījuma mērķa sasniegšanai tika izvirzīti šādi uzdevumi: 1.Izstrādāt un izmēģināt aptaujas anketu par kolorektālo vēzi, simptomiem, riska faktoriem un skrīninga zināšanām Latvijā, 2.Salīdzināt zināšanas par kolorektālo vēzi, to simptomiem, riska faktoriem un skrīningu vecuma grupā no 18 – 49 gadiem un vecuma grupā 50 – 70 gadi. Pētījuma hipotēze - zināšanas par kolorektrālo vēzi un skrīningu būtiski neatšķirsies jaunākā un vecākā vecuma ļaudīs. Pētījuma instruments bija aptauja, kuras anketa tika izplatīta caur portālu https://www.visidati.lv. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprināja hipotēzi. Atslēgas vārdi: kolorektālais vēzis, riska faktori, kolorektāla vēža skrīnings.

The Master's thesis "Assessment of colorectal cancer, symptoms, risk factors and screening knowledge in Latvia: a survey-based study" was prompted by the high prevalence of colorectal cancer (CRC) in Latvia (1). The aim of the study was to compare the level of knowledge about colorectal cancer, its symptoms, risk factors and screening in Latvia in people under 50 years of age (before state-funded screening) and in those over 50 years of age. To achieve the aim of the study, the following objectives were set: 1.To develop and test a questionnaire on colorectal cancer, symptoms, risk factors and screening knowledge in Latvia, 2.to compare knowledge about colorectal cancer, its symptoms, risk factors and screening in the 18-49 age group and in the 50-70 age group. The hypothesis of the study is that knowledge about colorectal cancer and screening will not differ significantly between younger and older age groups. The research instrument was a questionnaire distributed via https://www.visidati.lv. The results of the study confirmed the hypothesis.
