“Google Web Vitals” pielietojums un izpēte

Abstract

2020. gada novembrī uzņēmums “Google” paziņoja, ka pievienos papildus faktoru savam tīmekļu lapas meklētāj servisa lapu ranžēšanās algoritmam – (GCWV) Google Core Web Vitals testa rezultātus. Testa būtība ir veikt novērojumus par jebkuras tīmekļa lapas veiktspēju un idejiski meklētāj servisā kārtot lapas augstāk ar labāku veiktspēju. Darbā tiek apskatītas Google Core Web Vitals testa metrikas un citas populāras tīmekļa veiktspējas metrikas, to ietekmējošie faktori un biežāk veiktie optimizācijas darbi. Praktiskajā daļā tika veikti optimizācijas darbi autora veidotai tīmekļa lapai. Rezultātā tika gūts metriku rezultātu uzlabojums par 60%. Darbu noslēdz rezultātu un secinājumu nodaļas.

In November 2020, Google announced that it would add an additional factor to its web page search service page ranking algorithm - (GCWV) Google Core Web Vitals test results. The essence of the test is to make observations about the performance of any web page and rank the pages higher with better performance in their search engine service. The paper reviews Google Core Web Vitals test metrics and other popular web performance metrics, the factors that affect them, and commonly done optimizations for each. In the practical part, optimization works were performed for a web page created by the author. As a result, metrics improved by 60%. The work is concluded with the result and conclusion sections.
