Abstract

Testu automatizācija kļūst arvien izplatītāka un arvien vairāk uzņēmumu izvēlas veidot testa skriptus vismaz daļai savu testu, samazinot manuālās testēšanas īpatsvaru. Uzsākot automatizācijas ceļu, organizācijām jāsaprot, kādus testus automatizēt, jārod atbildes uz tādiem jautājumiem kā īstā testu automatizācijas satvara un rīka izvēle, kā arī jāgūst skaidrība par to, kādai jābūt testu automatizāciju veicošajai komandai un tās speciālistiem. Internetā atrodams ļoti daudz materiālu par šīm tēmām, bet bieži vien dažādos avotos informācija atšķiras. Darba mērķis ir ar literatūras avotu apkopošanu un analīzi, kā arī autores personīgās pieredzes un analītisko spēju palīdzību rast atbildes uz šiem un citiem jautājumiem, un saprast, kā nodrošināt to, lai rezultātā izveidotie automatizētie testa skripti būtu kvalitatīvi.

Test automation is becoming more common, and more and more companies are choosing to create test scripts for at least part of their tests, reducing the proportion of manual testing. When embarking on an automation path, organizations need to understand what tests to automate, find answers to questions such as choosing the right test automation framework and tool, and clarify what the test automation team and its professionals should be. There is a great deal of material on the Internet on these topics, but often the sources of information vary. The aim of the work is to gather answers to these and other questions through the collection and analysis of literature sources, as well as the author's personal experience and analytical skills, and to understand how to ensure the quality of the resulting automated test scripts.
