One of the goals of affective computing is to create digital systems that can understand and mimic human emotions and further respond to human emotions. The introduction of this type of technology would make everyday life easier through a user-friendly virtual dialogue systems. The aim of this work is to continue the research started in the course paper, based on the accepted theoretic frameworks and the results from the pilot experiment. Similarly to the pilot experiment that was conducted in the course work, natural, artificial and drawn faces were studied in a more detail; also being realistic and reliable were among the factors impacting the perception of affective response in digital environment. The paper investigates whether the perception of face in the digital environment differs depending on the type of facial stimulus (drawn, artificial or natural face), as well as how affective factors impact it. The results indicate that a person's mood and facial emotions affect the perception of the face, futther, according to our results, female face containing positive emotions is more pleasant in the digital environments. Finally, solutions for further development of the human-computer interface were described.
