Publisko bibliotēku bibliotekāru un studiju programmas "Informācijas pārvaldība" studentu motivācija strādāt bibliotēkā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ,,Publisko bibliotēku bibliotekāru un studiju programmas “Informācijas pārvaldība” studentu motivācija strādāt bibliotēkā” pētītas motivācijas atšķirības esošajiem bibliotekāriem un studentiem strādāt bibliotēkā, tiek pētīti motivāciju pozitīvi un negatīvi ietekmējoši faktori. Mērķis ir noskaidrot galvenās motivācijas atšķirības publisko bibliotēku bibliotekāriem un studiju programmas ,,Informācijas pārvaldība” studentiem strādāt bibliotēkā. Kā teorētiskā bāze izvēlēta Frederika Hercberga (Frederick Herzberg) divfaktoru teorija un Viktora Harolda Vruma (Victor Harold Vroom) ekspektāciju (gaidu) teorija. Pētījumā izmatota anketēšanas metode, kur tiek anketēti publisko bibliotēku bibliotekāri un studiju programmas ,,Informācijas pārvaldība” studenti. Lai noskaidrotu galvenās motivācijas atšķirības, tiek izmantota salīdzināšanas metode. Noskaidrots, ka publisko bibliotēku bibliotekāriem motivāciju strādāt bibliotēkā palielina piederības sajūta, darba specifika un kolēģi, bet studiju programmas ,,Informācijas pārvaldība” studentiem galvenie faktori, kas palielina motivāciju strādāt bibliotēkā, ir darba specifika, pašrealizācija un piederības sajūta.

In the Bachelor's thesis “Motivation of public library librarians and students of the study program “Information management” to work in the library” is studied the differences in motivation of librarians and students to work in the library. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to find out the differences in motivation to work in library for librarians and students. For the theoretical basis selected the two-factor theory and expectancy theory. The study uses questionnaires and benchmarking to wind out the main differences in motivation to work in library for librarians and students. It has been revealed that that for librarians the main motivations gives colleagues, sense of belonging and specifics of work but for students thy are specifics of work, self-realization and sense of belonging.
