Latvijas LGBT kopienas krievvalodīgo jauniešu naratīvi: duālās minoritātes

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Latvijas LGBT kopienas krievvalodīgo jauniešu naratīvi: duālās minoritātes”. Darba mērķis: noskaidrot, vai pašu LGBT kopienas krievvalodīgo jauniešu identitātes ir savstarpēji konfliktējošas, kā arī vai tās ietekmē piederības izjūtu Latvijai un viņu identitāti, dzīvojot valstī, kurā viņi pieder gan pie nacionālās, gan pie seksuālās minoritātes. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīta teorija par nacionālo, etnisko, lingvistisko, seksuālo un homoseksuālo identitāti, kā arī par jauniešiem kā pētījumu auditoriju un pētījumi par krievvalodīgo kopienu Latvijā. Pētījuma daļā tika izmantotas divas metodes – tematiskā naratīvā analīze un kontentanalīze. Balstoties uz iegūtajiem rezultātiem tika izdarīti secinājumi par to, vai jauniešu identitātes savstarpēji konfliktē, par jauniešu identitātes ietekmi uz piederības izjūtu Latvijai, par jauniešu pieredzi saskaroties ar stereotipiem un diskrimināciju, kā arī par jauniešu dalību krievvalodīgajā un LGBT kopienā.

Master’s thesis topic is “Narratives of Russian-speaking youth of the Latvian LGBT community: dual minorities”. The aim of the work is to find out whether it is a conflict between the identities of the Russian-speaking youth of the LGBT community, and whether these identities influence youngsters’ sense of belonging to Latvia, where they belong to both national and sexual minorities. The theoretical part of the work examines the theoretical aspects of national, ethnic, linguistic, sexual, and homosexual identities, as well as provides a deeper understanding about the young people as a research audience and research on the Russian-speaking community in Latvia. In the practical part of the work, three methods were used: semi-structured interview, thematic narrative analysis and content analysis. Based on the results obtained, conclusions were made about youngsters’ identity conflict, the impact of youngsters’ identities on their sense of belonging to Latvia, youngsters’’ experiences with stereotypes and discrimination in Latvia, and their participation in the Russian-speaking and LGBT communities.
